description; i started this right after jimmy's last episode and i suck so hard that it took me this long to finish, lol. i'm actually surprised i did finish it. i had it half done already so i couldn't just NOT finish it. the show without jimmy isn't the same and then they ruined ian&mickey too so it's like MY SHIPS. NO. i don't mind gus but fiona is drama and so i felt like her and jimmy had more interesting storylines. it's weird but i liked their dysfunction because at the end of the day, they still loved each other very much. just...my bbs :(.

I honestly hate every single one of Fiona's love interest storylines, except Jimmy. I feel like all her other boyfriends were separated from her family, which led to unfortunate situations such as the cocaine deal because Fiona wasn't paying attention to the kids, she was focused on him, whoever that might be. But not with Jimmy, he was there to support her through her family situation and herself aswell. He's the love of her life in my opinion, he's the only one she's ever really loved, specially since he's the only one she's ever mourned over(not Gus, not Sean either)

The writers ruined them and Jimmy's character, i hated his storyline in s5, i was expecting so much more... But still... I will always love and support them. Amazing video. And great song too!
cecealways i feel much the same. but i heard he was only coming back for a few episodes so i didn't expect them to get back together. i just hate how they portrayed jimmy as a douche. he was always a little self-centered but lying about the job and doing nothing but causing fiona pain seemed a crappy way to send him off. as far as "closure" goes, it wasn't that great :/.
Yeah, it made me wish the show had left Jimmy at the end of Season 3 and never looked back.

OW. PAINFUL. but gorgeous. I'm really pissed off at how the writers handled this relationship (aka threw it away like it was nothing & trashed jimmy's character) and at this season overall, but this was perfect (in that horrible trample-your-heart kind of way, lol)
contraryrhythm lol; i'm always glad to trample hearts! i feel like s5 was terrible overall (frank had the best arc and that's unusual, lol). hopefully s6 will be better but i'm doubting we'll ever get restitution for how jimmy & jimmy&fiona ended. siiiigh.
This is beautiful and sad. I will always love these two. (But I hate where the writers took his character....and their relationship, of course). I agree, the show is not the same without them. Again, Beautiful vid!!!

Very very very well done video! I loved this relationship and this walk down memory lane was painful to watch knowing that they're probably never going to see/get back together with each other :( Jimmy was always my favorite character too.
I was so not expecting to find anything jimmy&fiona by now but you've made me so happy by vidding them (even if I knew it'd mean pain because wow). Your editing here is just mesmerising; your lyric interpretation was amazing and you kept such a wonderful pacing as well! I'm seriously in love with this, you've brought so many of their little scenes from earlier seasons that it was like a reminder of why I love them so damn much (a very painful reminder though). It's such a shame the writers didn't know how to handle Jimmy's character and their relationship, they could've been so perfectly dysfunctional together... Anyway, thank you so much for such a wonderful tribute to these two.

yeah. i quit watching shameless when i found out emmy was leaving. did she even end up with anyone? it would've been great if they mickey&ian'd it and she and jimmy just magically ended up together, lol.

third - ugh i hate the writers so much. i mean i get it if they are not endgame. but i expected their ending to be a bit believable and not mega ooc for both.

I loved them. But I loved what Fiona said; "You have to let me let you go." Jimmy really hurt her and I think that Fiona doesn't really know who she is without a guy in her life. Emmy Rossum also said in an interview that for Fiona to move forward, she needs to learn to be on her own. So I think good things will come from this
freetobe1001 i loved that line too. fiona hasn't really grown as a person but she has recognized what isn't good for her and was at least strong enough to let it (jimmy) go. hopefully she doesn't keep bouncing from guys in the next season.

clarki32 i think the writers just wanted to give them more 'closure' so they just had fiona tell him she needs him to leave so he does for her. season 5 was kind of just a mess...
