Interesting story. Not impressed with the hero who wanted to marry a women whose money he wants to use to build his son’s (from another women) future. It would have been ok if he was honest about it with her before the marriage. Especially during that time when everything would only go to the first born and nothing goes to the second wife and kids if he dies.

Mary Jane Wells is the best narrator. She has so many voices. Men, women and children. Excellent!
October 3, 2024. Just finished listening 🎧. Narrator was excellent. The story was so endearing. Thank you.❤
The story, the narrator made this such a wonderful story. I want to hear more😊
This was such a great story. I just loved it! It had all the elements of great story telling plus a wonderful writer. I didn’t want it to end.❤😊

I was shouting when she stood up for Logan when he got found! "Defend him! Right in front of him, so he knows someone cares about him!" 😂
I love this narrator - I want her to be my friend, she sounds like so much fun, love her!
Great story the only wish is letting you know the-order the stories should be heard even though good stand alone stories 😊

Awesome. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Wait a minute! Did they but hallwells house. Or would make a great school and there would be room for a women’s society.
Can't stand this many commercials. Won't be able to finish. Like watching TV back in the 80s.

Cassandra is kind of dumb
I think so too,she knows that her money will come to her after marriage and at 23 she should know that her father dont want to part with her money!
Not dumb but kept very ignorant by a greedy man who she thought was her father and she trusted
