Thank you showing, we off here in few wks time can't wait first time in this part turkey, been antayla loved it, beautiful people , this looks amazing,
Icelemer is lovely. I need to be back there now. British weather is not good for us and we need the lovely food from Turkey also. When are u guys back out there and how often do u go and how long do u go for each time.
We are back out there in a couple of weeks and we tend to go for 3 weeks at a time normally April time and Sept into Oct. We are the same as you, love the place
@@lionofjudah4114 it's a bit quieter but the weather then is better for us as its not just as warm during the day and a bit cooler at night, flights have been booked for about a year but I think it's more expensive now
Thank you really enjoyed your video. I'm thinking of going to Icemeler next year. What Hotel do you stay in. Is it the Ida Hotel. Do you know if Private hotel is nice. We normally go to Calis in Fethiye. And this looks just as nice. With the little riverboat tour.
Hi, yes we stay at the Ida Hotel, sorry don't know anything about the Private Hotel the riverboat cruise is actually in Akyaka which is less than an hour away, we love Icmeler and are back again in Sept👍👍
Hi. I have not been to turkey before but feel I know it as a friend of mine lives there. She moved the from England about fifteen years ago and she loves it. She always has pictures on her WhatsApp status of the place. My hubby wants somewhere different to go this year. So I have seen an apartment near icelemer beach . I just wandered what is r place like is it quiet or busy. We want to visit Ephesus and other places . We not ones who sit on a beach all day. That isn't how we relax. Im looking forward to seeing turkey as it has so much biblical history there it is amazing how much they have.
Icmeler Is an excellent place to visit it is neither lively nor quiet but has found a very happy medium , the people are super friendly and any of the local tourist agencies of which there are many will be happy to arrange trips for you to Ephesus, pammakule the mud baths or any other place you wish to visit, having visited somewhere between 40 and 50 times now I have been all around the Bodrum Peninsula but mostly to Icmeler and Marmaris and can’t wait to get back there this summer 👍( at 21.34 in the video you will see travel shop by Baran Barani this is the guy we use for all our trips he is very helpful and Baran speaks good English )
@@lionofjudah4114 Yes I wouldn’t use anyone else for my trips out Baran is very helpful at the travel shop , as far as breakfast is concerned there are literally hundreds of restaurants that will serve you pretty much any type of breakfast that you require they are much the same as one another if you find one you like just stick with it 👍
I'm here next year for one last time. We've been about 6 times and she wanted to try other countries but my heart will always be here love the place. In-fact I would love to live there! Do miss Billy & Jack from the Florida bar. Stopped at the Eda I think last, nice people In that hotel. I love Icmeler, thanks for the Vlog It's really made me smile and brought back some happy times.
I'm glad you're getting back again even if it turns out to be the last time for you 😒we love it as well and would like to try living there over a winter just to see if we could do it, enjoy your trip when you get there and all the best
@@stevenpalmer144 Thanks Steven appreciate that. We did stop many times at the Eda when brothers Engen and Ersil were running It don't know If you had been there? Virtually every restaurant in Icmeler Will be happy to serve you a traditional Turkish breakfast (kavalti) usually costing around £1 per person, in my experience the best restaurants are usually found away from the seafront try venturing into the old town for more traditional experiences
@@stevenpalmer144 hi. Are the breakfasts in icelemer reasonable priced and how much money do you think we would need for two weeks. We are staying in a self catering apartment.

Seems like most shops have closed since summer 2019 time when we last went. Is this the case, maybe covid killed them? Would be a shame to see some of them go.
The video was mostly when Turkey was on the red list so not many tourists were in Icmeler and shops were mostly closed, however we are in Icmeler now and all opened up
@@stevenpalmer144 Hi Steven, thanks for the reply. That’s good to hear they have all opened up again. We have just booked for late July this year, looking forward to seeing icmeler again.
A great video guys (we hope to move to icmeler to live) well done 👏
Thanks Michael, we also hope to move at retirement 👍👍
