- Regal Link is a slot machine with multiple opportunities. First there are the blue diamond Cash Wilds that you can collect as you spin. So if you find a bet level that has 8 or more Cash Wilds collected, it can be a good play opportunity because it usually means they will be releasing very soon, typically within just a few spins. Plus, these Cash Wilds can release some fairly large cash values sometimes, which makes them even more valuable than the original Regal Riches wilds. The longer opportunity play are the progressive wild free games that are also collected, and can trigger at any time, but have a must hit by number. The best possible play you can get is to trigger the DIAMOND free games at 200 guaranteed wilds, so anytime you see this number up around 197 (preferably 198 or 199) is a good time to sit down and play until you hit this bonus. However, most of the time it is only worth chasing the Amber or Sapphire free games, as these are the most common gems you can land. I recommend 44 or higher on the Amber, 55 or higher on the Sapphire - or a combined Amber-Sapphire number of at least 92... if you do decide to chase an Amethyst, it should be at least 71, and Emerald should be at least 97... so keep your eyes out folks, best of luck, and pick 'em good!!!

I would think a 9 cash wild is worth chasing and even an 8, but I've had some bad runs with it, small sample and all. Always passing on a 7 on regal link and lately on regal riches, 7s are not doing so hot. Anecdotally, it seems like the strip has tightened up the slots but.. very small sample.
All Vegas-area casinos seem to have tightened up. 😕 I've experienced it myself and heard this same thing from multiple sources (slot pros and the like). We're all taking tighter numbers now here, or perhaps surprisingly, leaving town completely to get better odds. 😄 When Regal Link first came out, I was taking all the 7's I could find and had some really good hits, but my success rate ended up quickly dropping into the 30% range. 8's are probably a 40% dog in Vegas these days, but maybe a 60% winner in other markets. The thing I don't like about this game is that the line pays are pretty small. You need a ton of wilds to get a good line hit. That was a premium symbol and not even a 20x win. Quick profit is still quick profit though.
Yep, the line pays are minimal. 😕 The issue is that they put more weight on those large flaming yellow credit values that are tougher to land... but that's also a reason to keep playing to try to land them!!! Best of luck... pick 'em good!!! 😃👍
