we use the word "takmak" for accessories such as a necklace, earrings, belt or glasses. Other than that anything is possible for "giymek" if you say " ben gözlük giyiyorum" it sounds weird but if you say " ben gözlük takıyorum" then it's perfectly okay. Also I can clearly see that you've improved your Turkish very well, keep going
