Huddersfield Remembers: 2024 Remembrance Day Parade & Civic Service

In a touching display of unity and respect, people of all ages came together for Huddersfield's 2024 Remembrance Day service. The parade, which drew hundreds of onlookers, journeyed to and from the Huddersfield Parish Church.
The Kirklees Civic Service of Remembrance was conducted by the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Canon Rachel Firth. Distinguished attendees included Deputy Mayor of Kirklees Cllr Liz Smaje, Council Leader Cllr Carole Pattison, and Deputy Chief Executive Rachel Spencer-Henshall. The service also welcomed Huddersfield MP Harpreet Uppal, Sophia Buncy, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire Chief Constable John Robins.
