Taking away Zangief green hands was such a bad bad shame by Capcom. For all the years they've been making fighting games they can barely ever make a balanced game. How about just make every character as strong as they can be instead of giving characters like Guile, Ken, JP, Juri everything known to man and everyone else has to have 'a weakness'
It's just bad game design when matchups are reduced to this.

there’s no denying it’s quite strong. I wouldn’t call it “bs” but I would welcome a change to it. It’s a really really strong strategy at every level of play, and only costs 1 drive bar

@@CPTZK11 Guile has great normals, but Combos? Not so much actually. If someone with an actual great combos, or massive damage dealer like Zangief managed to get close and corner Guile, he's toast.

Killing them without letting them get close to you. Check mating their every moves and every attempt they do to get close.
Guile's sonic boom is more than just a projectile to be spammed: it is a multipurpose tool that can be used for combos, to drive rush behind, or simply to gun people down. The skill involved with sonic boom is the fact that it is a charge move, which gives the Guile player a boon of many upsides while at the same time restricting the way he can use his his character at any given moment. Charge characters are a weird but rewarding archetype, with Guile being the OG in that regard. The SICK combo Higuichi does at 7:33 . . . you have to be the top of the class to be able to pull something off that difficult and rewarding, so to call this Guile player a noob because just he knows when he can boom for free without a chance getting punished is pretty narrow-minded of people who don't see the nuance. Like, of course someone as stubby as Zangief is gonna look pathetic here. It's literally baked into the design of the game.

Boring or not has nothing to do in Proffessional Tournament. If you can win by "boring" method, then do it and take your winning prize if your opponent cannot counter it.

This is like me every time I play solo on MK and get to the top of the ladder. I just spam ranged attacks and like 2-3 combos.
This version of Zangief is quite weak at close range, more of a mid-range fighter. No more invincible grab at the close.
How can this be #1 Guile when he clearly worse than NuckleDu.

Hello, I bought Hori Fighting Stick Alpha but I can't get used to it. I can't make a combo for PS5. Should I keep it classic or modern? Can I get used to it?
fight sticks are generally the worst type of controller for fighting games excluding meme controllers. id stick with gamepad or leverless unless you really like fight sticks. classic or modern depends on which character youre playing, how serious you are about playing, and just preference. it is generally better to learn classic, though.

@@serdarguc1298i cant really tell you much about brands. like i said, fight sticks are generally the worst type of controller to play fighting games with. they can still be used competitively, but youre worse off than if you had a gamepad or leverless controller. if you dont like the fight stick you got then just return it and use a ps5 controller or a hitbox.

@@serdarguc1298i use hitbox, yes. its pretty similar to keyboard. it can take a while for some people to get used to, especially if theyve used fight stick a lot, but it feels great when you do.
There should be a limit on how many projectile a fighter can launch per battle.

His opponent is Zangief who can kill you so darn quickly if he managed to get close. You would 100% do the same if you fought Zangief and your character has Fireball.
