I don't know what you had in your heart when you wrote this song, but it aligns perfectly with my life. I travel for work and spend a few months at a time away from home. Every word of this song speaks to me. The first verse describes my younger years exactly. My wife and I finally bought our home 10 years ago, and everything I do, I do for her and my children. The chorus requires no explanation at all.... Dude, I'm done explaining, it is not needed. I mean it when I say EVERY SINGLE WORD describes my life.
