Absolutely EXCELLENT video. Highly recommended for "newbies" to Creo like me. I followed this to the letter and unlike so may other "tutorials" everything that I did WORKED and I understood what was happening thanks to the clear explanations. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the intro to CREO. Just stopped by to see how CREO compared to Inventor. Still prefer Inventor, but I understand it's all about what you start with. I learned Inventor way back with series 9 and have been using Inventor ever since. I keep checking out other platforms just to see how they compare. Most are very similar and I'm sure they all have their strong points and weak points. I think the best part of all the platforms is that there are those willing to share their knowledge with others. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
ROFLMAO I've been calling CAD operators "CAD Monkeys" for years as most are not REAL Engineers but people who just know how to use CAD. Nice to see someone who had gone the other route, (hands-on to CAD) and doesn't take themselves seriously. TOP JOB Sir!
Very nice tutorial! One question and one suggestion. The question is: I know in Keyshot you can add "fake" rounds to highlight edges instead of adding "real" round geometry, is it possible in Creo rendering application? And the suggestion is, you can use "auto rounds" to add the final touch of very small round to avoid having sharp corners, without having to select all the surfaces.
I'd like to ask if you have experience about the equivalent (DriveWorks in SolidWorks) in Creo to build configurator. I've built one easily by using Driveworks, but I've difficulties to find the equivalent in Creo. Thanks a lot.
whats so different between this version of CREO and the 3rd edition of the program? if i have the 3rd edition, should i replace it with the 4th edition or is it not worth it?
I really look up to people who are willing to help others. Well done man
