Hi there, obviously I wasn't aware. Gary Shider can add a fan. Thanks for clearing that up. I got hooked on Eddie Hazel once I heard the unreleased Smeeros Jam and this instrumental comes from the same comp. I just (wrongly) assumed this was Eddie too. P-peace!
Wow Jimi, I thought it was Eddie too, but I know enough about P-Funk to know that if you don't have first hand knowledge of who did what, then you don't know. They were all so good.
i wish i could get instrumentals of all the p funk stuff . . . . the musicians were so incredible!
I agree with that ,but in my case I'am looking for Bootsy's first two albums and Mothership Connection.
I play these chords on guitars every time I pick them up.
Beautiful chords.
One of my favorite thangs from pfunk
thanx Jimi, I olways figured it was either Mike or Eddie. Garry was a beast,

Eddie wrote it but Garry played it.
That great coda should have made it on the album.

Yes Jimi Hendrix was A Hero of the Funk and all Funkateers
Minneapolis It actually sounds like Plainfield, NJ. Guys out there played like this before Hendrix.
