- Old Time Religion (Trad. Gospel Song, cir. 1873)
- The Old Rugged Cross (George Bennard, 1915)
- Just a Closer Walk With Thee (Trad. Gospel Song, cir. late-1800s)
- Sweet Hour of Prayer (W. W. Walford, 1845)
- The Old 100th (Hymntune att. Louis Bourgeois, 1551)
--- Here there's a fake-out, where it sounds like they're about to parody “There is a Fountain Filled With Blood" (William Cowper, 1772), but they sing "Bingo" instead
- The Hallelujah Chorus (George Frideric Handel, 1741)

Just love this!! As a former Sweet Adeline and a pastor's wife, I'm almost tempted to have this played at the visitation before my funeral service.

What a dumb rule that takes your religious right away
You can sing about Blue Skies, a Farm, A woman ,Trombones but cant sing about heaven wow that stinks
It's partly so you don't get an unfair advantage if there are religious judges on the panel, same deal with overtly patriotic songs.

@@safrone Okay, that makes sense. I still don't like it (I'm a trombone player myself, so I'd probably unconsciously give precedence to a group singing about that), but at least it's better than the political correctness I initially thought
I had no idea there was such a rule, as I’ve seen Barbershop groups doing “Jesus-y” things. I presume the songs were parodies of Christian hymns because I didn’t recognize anything before the Gregorian chant (I’m Jewish).
