For someone under 1k subs, the quality of this content is amazing. I love leapfrog products and this video brought me back. I highly recommend looking more into education video game systems in the future. Definitely subbing!
man I remember these games from when I was young. I had batman, sonic and a couple more from what I can remember. And I had the first blue leapster you showed off
I take issue with the implication that a trampoline wouldn't be something a divorce dad owns. I don't have evidence to refute you, it just feels right.
The SchoolHouse Rock! Leapster "games" are just some of the show's episodes put onto the cartridge with a quiz section after each one, so you can always be lazier when it comes to kids licensed games
UA-cam randomly recommended this video to me and I'm glad I gave it a shot! I thoroughly enjoyed this. Informative and entertaining. I never even owned any of these systems but I you had me hooked from the start. Keep up the great work!
My cousin and I had Leapsters when we were kids. I had an L-Max but never plugged it into the tv. The SpongeBob, Junie B, Ratatoulie, and Bratz games were my favorites.
I stumbled across this and it's awesome to see more videos done in this style. the intro reminded me of one of my favorite youtubers and his style of bit, so I think I have a new hidden gem to be subbed to here. holy shit it gets better
I remember when my twin won a leapfrog console all the way back in kindergarten. Idk where it is but it probably doesn’t work anymore. I remember playing on it.
For some reason I specifically remember being scared of the completely normal looking turtles for no reason on that rainforest platformer on the LeapPad 2 Look at me now playing full on horror games
my leaptv does the same thing! Except, it doesn't even show the icon, it just nopes out to the user selection screen as soon as you insert the cartridge. It keeps going back to it when you select your user as long as it's plugged in!
Oh no, it’s Chris Thorndike from sonic x we must rant over how we hate the character and why Sega or tms (yes the same guys that makes case closed and lupin the third) shouldn’t make him a character or a best friend of sonic due to how freaking spoiled he is.
I personally prefer the VTech stuff. They feel like they had better quality hardware in terms of functionality. I hope you do more videos like this. Like maybe a video about the infamous Jakks Pacific Plug n Play systems?
There's so many cool Jakks Pacific plug n plays! I did a video on VMigo but I could only find the dog one, no cat and no Spiderman. I'd love to see a video on the Spiderman one especially!
That LeapTV scenario sounds like whatever factory they outsourced production to must've been a really horrible work environment. I know "Made in China" would be a somewhat obvious answer(even though some actual quality toys/game products HAVE been made there), but this feels like they outsourced it to Greenland.
@@ChacePlayzSeems like it’s an issue with the cartridge slot. I assume Pet Play World worked completely fine, as nothing looked buggy. Leapfrog also dropped other video game trinkets like the Didj circa 2007, the Rock-It Twist circa 2019, various plug and plays circa 2020, and the Leapster Ultra very recently in 2024. So now there’s 5 (technically 6) generations of the Leapster. The original model, the L-MAX, the Leapster 2, the Didj (if we count that one), the Explorer, and the Ultra. Leapfrog just can’t get enough of video games I suppose, whilst Vtech stopped making game consoles some time after the InnoTV. (Also weird thing. Considering Vtech owns Leapfrog, they release their hardware but with Vtech branding instead of Leapfrog branding.)
@@BladerKev It's an issue with the cartridges themselves - they use regular 2 gigabyte MicroSD cards in a custom shell. The SD cards can be written to and are slowly dying/getting corrupted over time.

It’s true we got the budget of a grilled cheese sandwich
Close enough welcome back scott the woz

I constantly begged my divorced dad for a trampoline and he never got me one, also we had a leap tv

Hey, this was a quick subscribe! Great video overall, great editing especially!
really good video! Really brought me back to my childhood
Bro your vids are well-built as hell. Good job being actually funny; it's rare here in the gamer realm 😔

I can feel the circuit benders drooling at your jank leapTV. Its visually fun to look at personally
The young boy from the Sonic X game is named Chris. I wish you watched a few episodes from that TV show.
@@DKMix358 I did not know that, I have been wanting to make a video about the different Sonic cartoons for a while

Oh boy fuckin' scott the woz over here!
In all seriousness, your skills in comedy and over all production value are very impress
Omg I remember leapfrog and jump start were such big things in my childhood 😅😂
I’m here to say that the Didj game Nicktoons: Android Invasion has a pretty good soundtrack
I like the leapfrog cartoon when I was younger
SOMEONE MONETIZE THIS MAN NOW
#broneedsabowl
I loved the ABC factory cartoon
I FINALLY GOT MY WISH!
LeapTV corruption videos aren't out of the question now that the cartridges are dying.

The cartridges use MicroSD cards. They're regular ones that can easily be written to as well, so the data is getting corrupted over time.
How, and i genuely mean, how the fuck is this channel so small. Truly underrated.
I will say the leap pads had some decent learning games
Mr pencil
A SpongeBob letter racing game
A drawn to life clone
Can you do a video on the leap pad
If I ever do a part 2 I’ll include it
I remember always hearing about leap frog as a kid none stop it was so annoying

Was the LeapTV *that* bad?
