Kilifi MP knows that Kindiki was appointed recently, and shakahola killings didn't start after his appointment. Pastor mackenzie moved in to shakahola in 2019 when Kindiki was not a member of the cabinet.

How local leaders take the pay but refrain from responsibility. Where were they when all this was happening? Parents complained about their children being forced to abandon school. They complained about their children being held captive by cult teachings. Where was this lady all along? When adults wilfully join a cult, what is kindiki to do unless there's a possibility of crime as in this case?
