What is that ball there? they are calling "ragi ki ball". Can anyone tell what is this? I am from Pakistan and just want to know that what that Ball actually is and Is this the ball Meat or vegetable?
Ragi is finger millet, its a staple food grain of India, mostly in soith India, ragi flour is added in boiling water and stirred continuously till its cooked, served shaped as balls as shown in the video, its very nutritious but tasteless so usually eaten, or i would say swallowed with non-veg curries. Ragi roti, dosa and malt are also made and now ragi biscuits are also available, as ragi has a slight hint of bitterness in taste people assume its good for diabetics, making it kind of popular, an alternative of rice which is mostly eaten in south India. We even used to have pork fry (Kadubeeshnahalli bylane) from street vendors. They were spicy and juicy. Beer was just a bahana to eat pork fry.

This is a scrape footpath, unhygienic food, at high price, pay 249 take a uff unlimited food factory, worth paying 5 type of starter with fish 2 biryani, cool drinks if you want to see the same in this footpath hotel it will cost 2000 minimum, this guy as bribe BBMP , and local authority to run the show, police commissioner has look into the matter, and income tax department also, no GST Bill and earnings some 15 lakhs per month with out paying single rupee of tax, and no BBMP tax , but still, the price is high

One thing I don't like about all these street stalls - They illegally occupy footpaths and hinder pedestrians. They do not have any food inspection or safety certification from health departments. They just pay the local corporator and police and ply their trade.
Having said that - what else do we expect from an India where entire system is corrupt and unemployment is highest. This is better than those people becoming criminals and rioters.
