Yeah who doesnt understand the genius of wah gwan delilah?💀
That's like saying AJR has a distinct sound. Like yeah that's true but how is that a good thing.
I dont go to Carti for writing. His biggest weakness by far is his forced mysterious persona where he lies and never drops anything official.
facts but they talking but music
I’d say it’s his rapping
elaborate on why thats his biggest weakness, imo its one of his biggest strengths, its how he builds this much hype so easily, he wouldn’t be where he is rn without it .

Ant gives me certain feelings that women dont tho (no homo tho)
I feel like I have seen a comment say the exact same thing in one of their recent vids , idk why I mentioned this.
@@Bread1354I didn’t copy this comment I swear 😭
You bit my comment word for word
@@grimeybussy7851 yeah ig that was what I was thinking about
The reason people say drake has no sound is because he hops on every new trend in the music industry, will fake any accent if it'll get him streams, and will collaborate with any up and coming artist to get more streams. that's not him being versatile, that's him being a fake guy with no sound whatsoever
This criticism of Drake I never understood. One of the biggest reasons why rappers fall off is failing to update their sound as time goes on. So how is this a bad thing? Kanye does the same thing he's rapped over NY drill beats before, he's worked with newer artist before like a playboi carti, lil pump, baby keem, etc. So if you're going to criticize Drake for it then criticize Kanye too. Imo I don't see how it's a bad thing because that's what you're supposed to do to keep your career going. You're supposed to update your sound as time goes on.
@@joyboy1720 the difference is that Drake doesn’t “update” his sound, he just hops on whatever sound or accent is popular like I pointed out. He doesn’t stay consistent with it or have a continuous evolution, it’s literally just whatever’s popping right now
@@joyboy1720the thing is Ye puts his own spin on the things he was doing for example Off the Grid is a NY drill beat but still feels like a Ye song and fits Donda well. Drake hops on trends and it just feels like he’s copying someone rather than putting his own spin on it.
@@ethanjaworski0677 okay so who's style did he copy on For all the dogs?
@@AtroxSMI also never understood this argument, if Drake feels inspired to do a track in a different style it doesn’t hurt the track. Drake working with different sounds could bring attention to them. The worst you can say is that it feels inauthentic, but who cares. The inauthenticity doesn’t affect the quality of the track. Just the conception
Kanye's biggest weakness is tbh that he thinks that everything he does is going to get glazed so he releases weak albums without no fear of his legacy being stained by it
Out of his 10 albums he only droped 1 mid album and made up for it with donda. His actual weakness is not dropping classic albums/songs like Can you be and yandhi😭🙏
@@d.o6356 1 mid album and 1 bad album
@@d.o6356JIK is not mid defo better than vultures
Yeah but Vultures and Donda aren’t weak
@@eric.pimonovsvultures is a callab that's why is said "10 albums". I would've said 13 if I counted callabs
Drake’s biggest weakness = Kendrick Lamar.

The f that means is Kendrick a part of drake you even know what weakness means ? In this context
Yall gonna be corny to the end of time or what? shit is over
Yall acting like drake fans wasn’t flexing on his win against meek mill 😂
I’ve started to become a very big fan of Nas. Incredible storytelling, Rapping ability, and Rhyme Schemes. Purely from a rapping stance, he’s almost untouchable.
But for me he’s always has 1 or 2 notable weaknesses, which plague his middle career a lot. One would maybe be the hooks, which since It Was Written has been very inconsistent. Sometimes he can carry a hook/pick a good hook artists, but other times
They are boring or don’t sound catchy.
But the bigger issue that actually affects even his best rapping performances, is his lack of diversity in his cadience and flows. Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a good voice and very venomous flows, especially on Illmatic. But, from 1999 to 2012, his voice sounds almost unchanged, maybe getting slightly deeper. He raps with the same cadience/energy on almost every song, except for The Lost Tapes. This issue is very apparent during the 2000’s. Street’s disciple has so many relating flows, and sounds that are meant to be more emotional, he raps the same way he does on a hand banger song. Eventually, it makes a lot of his songs in that era just blend together and become forgettable. I think he’s somewhat improved this on his recent run in the 2020’s. He at least tries new tones/cadiences more often now, and you can hear a bit more emotion at times.
To sum it up Im simple words, Nas is extremely talented when it comes to Pen, rhyming words together, and making vivid pictures, and these skills are present a lot on his first 2 albums, Lost Tapes, Stillmatic(mostly), and the King’s Disease/Magic stuff. But, and especially present on his weaker stuff, but it’s still a factor for on his best stuff, he lacks variety in his voice, and how he uses it to flow or convey emotions. If I hear Nas’s voice for too long, It gets stale after a bit. If he doesn’t have the pipes to try new voices. I understand. But it means rappers who can do that, I’ll always prefer a bit to him, no mater how good he is at rapping. Denzel is a great example. Great pen and rapping, but also damn good energy and voice variety.
Well said. For me it's his vocal inflections/variation can be noticeably dry at times if the production isn't there to add enough flavor (like that middle stretch). That's the only thing I can really think of other than like you said just hooks and maybe overall delivery.
@@InterstellarBountyHunter521 you nailed what I was trying to say perfectly. Not enough variation for my liking, and sometimes when he does try to change it up, he sounds a bit stiff, like he’s a hardcore thug who’s always been told to hide any emotions. Also, W logic PFP. Always appreciate some love for Bobby ❤️
@@BurningBlaze55 My second favorite rapper lol. Bobby boy is awesome. I'm curious: How does the KD/Magic series compare to Illmatic and It Was Written in your opinion? For me, I personally prefer KD3 and Magic 1 and 2 to It Was Written. Mafioso Nas just doesn't work for me for some reason.

Hope yall are doing well today, thank you guys for posting videos at the best time
Please do a part 2
i think this is a great video concept, it forces you as a fan to kind of take a step back and look at an artist from an unbiased perspective. id love to see this become a series, and id like to see more og legends talked about in a future epsode (ice cube, outkast, tupac, etc)
We need part 2
yeat might have the best mic presence in the game right now... unless we just think about mic presence differently but yeat's ad libs alone make his mic presence insanely good to me.
For sure bruh, I don't agree with the Yeat take ngl... the adlibs are insane if you listen to his music attentively and his mic presence is what makes me engaged to his songs but maybe they just listen to his hits no wonder the examples they gave were all mainstream hits.. if you listen to songs songs like never again, Don't lie, Barney, how it go, bought the earth, heliman you'll see that his mic presence and adlibs make the songs more interesting and engaging.
For Travis, low key, I’m going execution of album concepts. He’s a great world builder with creating certain soundscapes (Ex: Astroworld) and he can get lyrical on tracks but I can’t say I’ve seen the world building go beyond just the sound and the hype. And lack of lyrical focus plays a part
He had a concept with rodeo about the big cruel world that's outside of home but that's really his only concept album
@@Mrbagels12335 I’m not saying he doesn’t have concept albums bc I’ve heard takes that Utopia is a concept album. It’s more so the execution. Like yeah P*rnography, Oh my dis side, Apple Pie, and 90210 play into a team but all the other tracks are just bangers that lack cohesiveness or substance
@@bentoy5407 The album explores a unified theme of seeking and envisioning a perfect world or state of being, reflecting on personal and societal aspirations and challenges
on songs like
THANK GOD where he reflects on his life and he is grateful for his success and how far he's come in life.
the most cohesive theme on the album is self acceptance and looking through life to find your own Utopia
if you watch the circus maximus video you would see the concept realized.

Carti's weakness is punctuality

Nas did distant relatives that was reggaefied
exactly, its like they want him to make his own 808s and heartbreak album 😂
part 2!!!
It's nice to see that you didn't bring up Nav in the video, because you know he has no weaknesses
Ant's biggest weakness is that damn haircut 💀
Your biggest weakness is the absolutely absurd dicking that you’re about to receive.
That haircut fits him
Tf? Guy looks great
L
It’s better tbh
Speaking to the Nas part. I actually think that was a major goal of his during the hit boy run. He wanted to challenge himself to rap over stuff he hasn’t rapped over before. He didn’t miss a step when he stepped outside of the box either. Examples, replace me, spicy, 27 summers, 40 side, YKTV, Rare, Michael and Quincy,30. Nas knocked these out the park. I think Nas is very self aware, so he still continues to work on what he feels has been a weakness at times.
Ant is my weakness😍😍😍
Made me lose my edging streak 🍆🧎
Weak in the knees for him tbh
Drakes biggest weakness is his childish/immature ways, without it he wouldnt have drama with Kendrick or Pusha and he'd be more respected
He went against an actual Compton survivor, lyricist and Pullitzer prize winner. P. Drizzy had no chance
Lil Uzi Vert weakness: his horrendous song selection
I think you could also say his harshness on his own projects. He’s too harsh on himself and you can tell he’s been trying too hard since eternal Atake
@@corey4370💯
@@corey4370 I'd argue the exact opposite, bro doesn't try literally at all and instead poops out songs like POP and Sasuke and Aye and CS
Nas should try something new? How about his album with Damien Marley the Distant Relatives? Or even the mentioned trap beats he sometimes raps on, you say they don’t fit him and in the next minute you bash him for not trying something new
Fantano’s weakness is the tpab jokes
Or cantaloupes
If this comment said "To Fantano a Joke" it would've gotten 10k likes
Tbh waynes biggest weakness is how he takes care of himself especially as a father
This would also be fun if you had a bunch of categories for all the rappers, and then had to choose one of them as their biggest weakness. Love you guys!😊
every drake album comes with like 20 minutes of material u can gladly take off
Drake's weakness definitely isn't making short jokes 😭😭😭
I don’t think Travis Scott really has a big weakness I would say when he’s a feature he doesn’t try as much as he does on his albums and singles
Thoughts on Tobey?
Amazing song
looking clean. the beard isn’t looking weird.
gotta agree with the don take, he does not drop many songs with deeper lyrics. although not having a classic album really isn't a fair weakness. most current rappers have zero classics as well.

Y’all fs find a weakness for Scott and Tyler, it’s lazy to not find one especially for Lou since he didn’t have one for either which means he only had one for the first three
Bringing up wagwan delilah is so comical. Drakes weakness is that hes just awful now

Drakes biggest weakness is definetely children
Always thought Nas was his best on 1,2 beats. Take NY state of mind and Get Down as examples when you hear the kicks come in it's 1,2 drum patterns
Drake- writing his own songs
I totally understand what ant is tryna say about Nas.... Denzel curry is a good example for what he was tryna say

@@sachitsunil7582 the fact u already got the lyrics wrong shows how much mumble there is
Don Tolivers biggest weakness is his marketing
I see where y’all are coming from but I disagree with the Nas take
How is Yeat's weakness not being able to make out what he says when Carti has his own language
The kid Cudi song is my favorite song on clb I feel more so that lil baby didn’t need to be on girls want girls.
I also feel like you have to be negative to think Drake using people, look at the numbers before Drake feature vs after.
We’ve never had a top rapper share their spotlight while being on top like this.
50 cent did it but those artist was signed to him.
Drakes biggest weakness is definitely not his hammer
For me, Drake’s biggest issue is he caters to the trends. He makes a lot of music for the moment and that doesn't last for the long run. I would say this ever since More Life where he's quantity over quality
Drake and Yeat have made bangers together
So have Drake and Trippie Red
And as much as I don’t like Sexy Red, Rich Baby Daddy was a certified hit from FATD too
In my humble opinion:
Drake - still can’t sing well & lack of artistic vision
Travis - singles is actually correct
Tyler - not sure currently lol
Future - anytime he sings anything non-psychadelic
Lil Wayne - voice is so annoying and he leans into it sometimes (no pun intended)
Playboi Carti - what isn’t a weakness?
Don Toliver - quality control
Nas - they are right, he’s kind of linear
Nicki Minaj - bloated albums
Yeat - EVERYTHING
He can sing well but not amazing
14:05 lets not act like KSI aint had other massive features. (for example: Rick Ross, Lil Baby, Offset, Polo G, Future, 21 Savage to name a few) Yes they definitely aren’t on the same level as Lil Wayne, but if I was him, I’d be getting the free bag too🤷🏾♂️

Drakes ‘sound’ which yes I agree he has his own sound but it’s that if the American sound. Just like how Americans take from every culture or borrow whether they give flowers or not, and he used them to his gain and benefit. Sometimes it works out and other times he’s called out for it, like like America.
