Hayward is ok geographically because it’s 30-40 min from all of the Bay Area. The down side is homeless people, car break ins and the obvious drug problem.

Talk about positive spin. My wife's family still lives in Hayward. Drug dealing in plain few, high crime, gang violence and increasing homeless population, poor neighborhood parking. There are some really nice people and families there, but they are almost hostage in a very rough area. Not to mention home to the most dangerous and potentially the deadliest fault line in California.

You must b new here or just very soft and old. Hayward isn’t “high crime” 😂move somewhere else if you think it’s a high crime area

@@fantuhjc5086 I see it every weekend. You obviously have your eyes closed or just don't want to admit the truth.

Lived in Hayward 1977-2003. From my time there, 77-90 it was Nice. My wife and I stayed there until 2003 to expand our business interests for our move and sell off our properties. SSVTV, might be feeding you Hype The Bay Area as well as most of California is in decline. Hayward ???, >>> Oh, and you have those wonderful neighbors in Castro Valley.

Leave it to a Realtor to paint such a wonderful picture of Hayward. She makes it sound like Maybury

Crime and homicide through the roof. Sorry but doesn't look like a place I would like to visit.

We’ve lived in Hayward for over a decade and the crime has gotten worst since we moved here. Outside of this and the schools, I agree with most of this video. Hayward is def overlooked and a great overall city. It’s def on the come up and probably one of the best bang for the $ Bay Area wise

If they bring less crime why not…

@@DonJulio510 respectfully disagree. Sf and oak without a doubt the most gentrified cites out here and I don't have to explain their crime situation right now. If people come in here paying above asking on already outrageous prices it only creates more poor people hence more crime. The higher income people aren't helping the lower income people by kicking them out with rent increases. It's not just individuals but corporations buying these properties as well.

I'm born and raised in Hayward. Hayward has only improved with the new arrivals less crime, more diverse food, and less thugs. People that can't afford don't stay and commit crime they move to Modesto.
