Regardless of what Incubus comes out with, people who love music and understand music will fall in love with Incubus (new or old) because Incubus understands it. Rythm, style, notes, ect. Simply put: Rather you get it or you dont. Incubus is a group of musicians and artist who perform how it should be: from the heart. That's what makes these guys a band that is truly admirable and a inspiration!
I love how when he steps back from the mic before the song starts he fades into the shadows! And then he comes out and gives an amazing performance like always! He is seriously one of THE best musicians out there to date. So glad they are back in the spotlight! :)
I don't know about you guys but I don't want the same recycled sound on every album. They've brought something fresh and new with every release and that's what I love. Always evolving, always moving forward.
One of my favorites in the new album. This song reminds me of Pink Floyd. Hey boys and girls, quit comparing the young Incubus music to what they have now. Come on, everything slows down as time passes by and it doesn't mean it's bad. Even Beatles slow down when they matured. And if you want to hear same kind of music in every album, isn't that kinda boring? I'd say I like the way Incubus evolve so to speak. Because it shows their talent and creativity, that's why they're still around.
@MegaJohndoe69 the day rebecca black makes a song that grooves as hard as the second half of this tune is the day hell freezes over. matter of fact, i cant think of any old incubus songs that groove like this one does in the second half.
True Incubus fans would love them no matter who's in the band. And its funny that you say sick sad is one of your favs because that's Bens debut album. They also replaced DJ Lyfe with Kilmore on the Make Yourself album and on, do you guys want him back too?
I totally agree with nathan, I said that to a friend and he looked at me like I was dumb, but deff like a wish you were here (pink floyd version) or time sound, mixed with a just a phase by Incubus sound I think, then it gets all eerie sounding ! Love it
This and Adolescents are fighting for my favorite song on the new album. I'm seriously hoping and expecting them to open up the second half with a sick solo section like they did for SSLW
Seriously. If you're letting that bother you then somethings wrong haha. That's the beauty of Incubus, 5 different (creatively, ethnically, stylistically) but talented individuals uniting to create one beautiful, unique sound. Du
Increible concierto en general, pero este tema en particula es fasinante, uno de los mejores del ultimo disco... hubiese esta bueno escuchar isadore o switchblade es muy bueno el cambio de este disco sin dejar de ser incubus!, jodidamente buenooo!
@thebigl032 I agree entirely. I've been a fan for over 10 years. I love Science, I think Make Yourself is my favorite, but even the new album is full of great music. They are one of the few bands that I can listen to any one of their albums and be content.
i sort of agree. they have gone softer with their music. i can put morning view and make yourself on and listen to the albums through and through but i can't say the same for if not now when. it's like they've lost their passion to push the boundaries and just want to make generic music. but i still think they're being true to themselves. nobody told them to switch their style of music, it's just something that happens with time. their whole lives are completely different from when they were 21.
@buccofan27 actually, if you watch one of their interviews.. you'll find out tht they did reeaally change a whole lot, they just said tht when they write songs they write what they think of, right then and there.. and Brandon said tht they will probable make more songs like they did b4.. but this album came out slow.. they are still very unique:)
@thebigl032 Pretty much after crow they really changed,I think that's when you notice the biggest transition, although I guess i'd be saying that about any album that followed make yourself. Morning View, Light Grenades and Crow you can sort of tie together in different stages but make yourself and science are just so far from those three. I wasn't crazy over Light Grenades, unfortunately this new album has a similar feel, hopefully it grows on me.
@MrMistermastermax Disagree. they went from angry teens writing about the problems of the world to grown men who accept the world for what it is and are trying their best to get by. Think of groups like the Beatles and others. They all went through fairly major transformations in their careers and still made good music. Just because Incubus switched styles up a bit in the post 2000 era doesnt mean they s*** on their fans. They did whats best for them. That includes getting away from drugs.
Jeez... what happened to Incubus? Damn, I have fondling memories of me listening to their first albums and looking up to their musical style, but they've totally lost the grip. They're tried hard to become a low-profile, regular band just like the ones who make no difference in one's life... so hard they've finally achieved whatever it was they wanted... man, their newest album is a bellyful of horrible, teenage crap... Brandon Boyd has definitely taken this huge s*** right in our faces... JEE
@mwellbass......that didnt call for a fuck off dude......my opinion is my opinion and its all about personell taste. I love Ben and his bass style its just that I prefer the Incubus with Dirk in the band. Most people who are true Incubus fans would say the same. You are also intitled to your opinion.
I watched a video of "INCUBUS" live in 1998 right before this..... needless to say, as soon as i am finished typing this sentence my computer will be 19,879 feet deep my own ashole because am so devastated that what i used to call my favorite band is now making music eqiuvalent to Rebecca Black....TGIF!!!!!!!!!!
@mwellbass........sad sick is one of my all time fav songs!........but they aint making complete solid good albums like they used to.....Crow Left was the best album they have made since Dirk was kicked out but they are struggling to make anything as good since........Adolescents is a great song, everything else ive heard off the new album is really boring!

still loving them even after all these years!
I love how when he steps back from the mic before the song starts he fades into the shadows! And then he comes out and gives an amazing performance like always! He is seriously one of THE best musicians out there to date. So glad they are back in the spotlight! :)
This song is a FUCKING MASTERPIECE, no two ways about it
I don't know about you guys but I don't want the same recycled sound on every album. They've brought something fresh and new with every release and that's what I love. Always evolving, always moving forward.
this was the most stellar thing ever. thank you for uploading it. =)
When it goes into jam mode, it really is what I wait for from Incubus.
Perfect tune and perfect direction of their evolution!
this live version is even better than the cd version
Middle part is sooo tight. I love this album. Great stuff

Give a thumbs up if you think Incubus is the best band in the world.
That breakdown is the BEST THING EVER!
I absolutely LOVE this song!
still get chills everytime i hear them
Super Megafantastic.....I love the new Album...
@MegaJohndoe69 the day rebecca black makes a song that grooves as hard as the second half of this tune is the day hell freezes over. matter of fact, i cant think of any old incubus songs that groove like this one does in the second half.
I loved this song the first time I heard it. I predict a big hit.
nice wolf part mr boyd...i love incubus once more
True Incubus fans would love them no matter who's in the band. And its funny that you say sick sad is one of your favs because that's Bens debut album. They also replaced DJ Lyfe with Kilmore on the Make Yourself album and on, do you guys want him back too?
truly an amazing band

se nota el cambio de sonido, es un incubus mas oscuro! ya me estoy acostumbrando a este cambio ME ENCANTA ESTA CANCION!
Oh, my fucking Gloria!
Esta es la mejor canción del "If not now when?"
La más wasa, la mejor!
Gracias por el streaming... y por subirla
Good lord. This song is amazing. I heard it and I was hooked. Sounds a bit like pink Floyd, maybe that's why I like it so much!.
This and Adolescents are fighting for my favorite song on the new album. I'm seriously hoping and expecting them to open up the second half with a sick solo section like they did for SSLW
OMFG i love dis song so baddddddddddddddddd
Amazing, I loved this song right away, the new album is gonna be fucking amaing I'm sure!
holy fuck men thanks for the upload
awesome. thank you for sharing
fondling memories? Their old stuff was pretty awesome but I never went that far.
Seriously. If you're letting that bother you then somethings wrong haha. That's the beauty of Incubus, 5 different (creatively, ethnically, stylistically) but talented individuals uniting to create one beautiful, unique sound. Du

The instrumental in the middle reminds me of Pink Floyd's "Echoes", the live version from Pompeii. Starts around 3:43
Damn Sweet!! *.*
it was the longest night of my life
i sort of agree. they have gone softer with their music. i can put morning view and make yourself on and listen to the albums through and through but i can't say the same for if not now when. it's like they've lost their passion to push the boundaries and just want to make generic music. but i still think they're being true to themselves. nobody told them to switch their style of music, it's just something that happens with time. their whole lives are completely different from when they were 21.
My kind of band...
@plogor58 conicido, la mejor cancion del album che sese

@plogor58 Estoy de acuerdo, ésta es la mejor canción del If Not Now, When?
@IXIXMMIX I've been using Fraps and it works the same, but only records the stream
@IXIXMMIX I used Screenium, it records what's on the screen
The guitar reminds me of Pink Floyd. Not a bad thing. Love the new album. "Isadore" is by far my favorite on it though.
@thebigl032 Pretty much after crow they really changed,I think that's when you notice the biggest transition, although I guess i'd be saying that about any album that followed make yourself. "Mike give me your pic", I've got one muhaha :P
The string parts in the second half make me think of James Bond. Which is a good thing.
Stealing the fill at 7:35. Thanks for that Jose!
@NickHex81 I agree 100% dude.. But I'm glad they didn't release it just yet. Isadore is the shit.
@sphinxart Wow, it really is true...
Is it a cover after 3:55??
Alpharetta in 2 months. Fuck yea. Now to decide whether to go up close or get stoned on the lawn.
@spartan51590 fender thinline.

4:40 and on sounds a bit like "everybody here wants you" by Jeff Buckley, and I know Brandon likes Jeff's music..it's still good anyway
Brandon is very sexy in this one. Awesome song.
OMG...Did anyone else jizz and 4:36-6:37? seriously Brandon Boyd :)
2 people sat loudly unobservant and unafraid.
They totally ripped into Pink Floyd and Prince in the same song....
aca 00:30
