@@pervyboy69 i agree. I love mat but he was suspect on jre. He claimed to not know anything about steroids and was asking a lot of questions even natural athletes know the answers to. I think he was on gear and hes off now. Hence the huge size difference. Still love the guy!

he might be working off his potential numbers. I do the same thing. my potential is 565 based off my 5rm of 480. last I remember Mats DL is close to my actual 1rm of 540
@@KeithGreenshields lmao, maybe. He's never recorded a 605 and it is really common for CrossFit athletes to be able to do several reps just under their actual 1RM. The strength conditioning in CrossFit tends to have a lot of endurance baked into it and less 1RM emphasis, compared to like Powerlifters that have ground breaking 1RMs but a huge drop off if you have to do 5, or 8 or 10+ reps.

Not surprised to see CrossFit Training moving this direction; with Fraser leading the charge it will be far more prevalent.
Lots of programs use percentages.. but in my opinion I think Fraser’s programming is just better when it comes to the percentages put on the board

How much less volume of working out are you doing (compared to when in a typical Crossfit competition year)? Is the volume of food consumed the same % decrease? How ya feeling with decreased cal intake and decreased volume exercising? What do you feel as a “difference” if any?

Anyone have a good conversion calculator or table for that Cardio workout. Was able to keep track of total calories burned during the work period and I have estimate of average watts based on pace I was keeping. Just seeing if anyone has a definitive conversion? Thanks

Can someone share specs of the rig in this gym, I’m particularly interested in the pull-up bar setup and clearance from wall to allow for toes to bar and other kipping movements. I was daydreaming about the exact same thing. Like man, I have about the same amount of space as him but because I can't afford to buy a massive wall rack to line every wall, I have so much less working space. never mind all the amazing add ons he's got. This is my dream gym. If I could even get like 70% of the way to this gym... oh man
@@cygnusx-1256 bit by bit we will get there. I am not settling until I get every single thing i want in a home gym. Health is wealth, looking great is the bonus.
Thats why i feel bodybuilder style training is easiest for most people - you dont need that many available weights/bars in a public gym. Crossfit style training without a class seems impossible or it'd take hours to find the right equipment.
