I used an Eldar Wraithlord as my base model for my Slaanesh Daemon Prince. I used green stuff to wrap its arms. legs , body, head and weapons in tendrils and tentacles to make it look like a Demon Prince had defeated & possessed the Wraithlord. It also felt like a fitting model to me due to the lore between the two factions.

This color palette goes well with my colour-blindness, there is no contrast between the hair and demons for me. But the cute dinos with their colourful backs have a lot of contrast :)

@@wolfyboy It's called the "Let me do it for you" meme. A bit of history if you want: It seems that it originated as a parody to the song "Cellophane" by FKA Twigs. Someone sang some of the lyrics in the voice of Miss Piggy as a voicemail. That sound bit then got coupled with the backing piano from the original song. And then somehow a Borzoi dog got mixed into the meme and now we're here :D

If you have any Sisters of Battle bits lying around you can incorperate those into the HQ unit. I have a chaos sisters of battle army that is all kitbashed with slaanesh and you can do some really cool stuff by combining those together.

Please make more Tyranid kitbashes! I’ve always loved that style of characters, and whenever people kitbash Tyranids on UA-cam, they almost always come out looking fantastic.
I haven’t bought or painted any miniatures for about 35 years but I love watching your vids. Maybe i’ll give it another shot some day, not that i have a clue where to begin these days!
I love guys painting vids cause he absolutely isn’t perfect and at times not efficient even. But he just seems to love it which got me to start painting.

@@MidwinterMinis Slaanesh demands excess in all things, including vocabulary.
I think the Avalenor model from AoS would be an interesting basis for a daemon prince of slaanesh conversion, just change the head, shoulders and end of the hammer for something more chaosy.
I am sure you will get a lot of suggestions to use Morathi for that conversion but thats a cop-out. everyone and their nan has seen that conversion.
Avelenor is a bit big for a daemon prince, he'd be better for a converted keeper of secrets.

These are gorgeous 😊 An idea though - glossy varnish over the eyes could look nice. After all, eyes aren't matte, they're moist, and gloss imitates the effect nicely

I think these slaaneshi daemons are the epitome of the word Lurid. Looking up the word in a picture dictionary would definitely bring up a reference picture of these.

Absolutely get yourself a Daemon Prince and a squad of Cultists to go with. Probably use any excess Dark Eldar, Battle Sisters, or Escher bodies to pad out the remainder.

For the kitbashing bits, it would be cool to see your take on Fulgrim. You might need quite a lot more bits than the few left over from this tho. The Morathi khaine model has a good snake body to use as a base.

That's really cool. I wish i had that kind of painting skill and knowledge. Great work. I was planning on picking up a Army for Slaanesh but I work so much it's hard to find time to paint and do everything. I need to find someone I can commission to do that for me. Keep up the good work. I will most likely be coming back to this video when I get around to buying my Slaanesh army.

UHU GLUE! Okay now I know what glue I used 30 odd years ago when I added flayed flesh to a Hero Quest skeleton. I was never able to recreate the same texture with any other glue. Cheers for the 3 decade late reminder!
Kitbash a contemptor dreadnaught into your hq, one that turned to chaos and ascended to daemonhood after being entombed in the machine. The half-corpse inside still remembered the pleasures of the flesh. and as it walked the path of chaos, slaanesh’s gifts burst through its sarcophagus and out of its iron body.
Sisters of battle Arco flagellants! You know that would make an excellent Slaanesh demon prince.

Really loving this demons! I started a few months ago with a combat patrol Sisters of Battle and have this still in the box, a bit intimidating with the complex shapes and forms, but yhea I will assemble them after painting!
