- As our Drag Challenge entrants start to hit the road the reality of the situation is becoming apparent -Drag Challenge is a challenge! After a 400km trek from Heathcote the action at Portland was delayed by an hour due to a light shower which meant everyone was going to hit the road to Mildura today much later than expected. Current Leader is Harry Haig, followed by Luke Foley and then Chris Kaarsberg.
Street Machine Carnage is all about having fun with cars. Sometimes it's serious performance, sometimes it's crazy fun, but it always interesting and done on a budget.

That part when Frank was trying to start that HQ and everybody jumped when it went POP was funny, even funnier was me jumping in my chair also while watching it on my pc here at home. LOL. I'm guessing I wasn't the only one. LOL.

Here in the UK we've only really got 2 drag strips and they're about 200 miles (320 km) apart. This year will be our first Drag and Drive event, and I'm doing it in my Bug. These awesome videos are getting me really excited for it and it's still 4 months away!

WOW so much mucking around 1/8th then 1/4, i think the guys would change their diff ratios at all the 1/8 tracks if not then its really so hard to win, after all those cars which do like low 7's in the 1/4 are doing like low 4's in the 1/8 ?
Thank you for the upload as a disabled person its very hard to go to these events, always looking forward to the uploads, plus why don't you guys do the Ballarat Race track its there, closer than portland and on the way to mildura and swan hill as well?
PS now i know why, because Ballarat is over 440 meters above sea level which will stuff up a lot of the tuns especially those turbo engines and supercharged engines & especially if they do not have a air density MAF type meter/ sensor set up for tuning the engine for air to fuel ratios etc. :)

The event shirts are black, and black doesn't show all the dirt and grease from working on the cars along the way!
Just one guy's opinion, but I think your drag racing to awkward interviews ratio is off. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort being put into the coverage. It's just 10 mins of chitchat before we see the first launch of the vid was heavy going for me. The drive montage at 29mins is awesome. I would have opened with that. :)

Bit rough mate, our roadworthy laws are a bit tighter than good old US of A. I'd say anything in the single digits down the quarter is a pretty darn good achievement no matter where you are!
I'd be worried that anyone from SAPOL was watching with that white XF. They've been known to send defects in mail for cars with SA plates on them in magazines.
