All of them CAN sing, their voices are just different. Wendy has a very powerful voice that is very versatile, Seulgi also has a powerful voice, but is slightly less flexible than Wendy's. Joy has a very sweet sounding, but still powerful voice, she can hit high notes and her mid range is very pleasant sounding. Irene has a stable mid range voice that has a very soothing tone to it. Yeri has a unique voice, I've never heard a female with a voice like hers, it's not an insult btw, I quite like her voice and I'm so glad at how much she has improved since her debut.
Wendy's vocals never ceases to surprise me. WJS should have a vocal unit like TTS. Btw, Irene's a real good singer too. Very stable even at a high pitch and she doesn't lose good amount of power

Honestly, to all the people saying Yeri is very attention seeking, to me Yeri just seems unsecure with how to balance her presence. She fades completely out and brings herself back playing in front of the camera or exaggerating her dance. She doesn't look like she even knows how to naturally interact with them, which could be due to age difference, and I'm positively sure they get along, but in some things maturity levels could make it that way. They were trained to know how to act in front of a camera, so hopefully Yeri will blend in more with her unnies as she grows as an entertainer. At the age of 16 you're going through a lot of emotional development, I'm 18 and I can tell you I'm a different person than who I was then, so she definitely has a lot of room to develop as a person.

Irene's situation is a little bit similar with Jhope's. Hope joined as a vocalist too but Bangtan has 4 vocalists and if he sings he would've got 1 second of singing. Same goes to Irene. Now, SM has been making Joy sing with 94line so Irene getting singing parts would be difficult even though we would want to hear their voices more. And you need to remember, chorus for title songs need to be sang by a stable vocalist since they will need to sing it live and all so if it was sang by someone who doesn't have enough stability they might as well just lip-sync. and to those who are hating on joy, she's the 3rd vocalist in rv so it makes more sense for her to sing more than yeri and irene. rv's positions changed a lot after yeri came so official positions are not the best source for you to judge. for bangtan taejin rarely even gets to sing 5 seconds since bighit has been making jungkook and rapmon sings half of their songs. actually i think rv's parts are divided quite okay except for yeri /sighs. . btw i do want to hear hobi/irene/yerim's singing voice more, it's just that their companies won't focus on their vocal skills.

Honestly I love the small groups that come out of SM (F(x), SHINee, TVXQ as examples) because they are so well rounded and the full package. Even if SM forces some to be rappers and not singers, when they do sing, they impress the audience with a very stable and clear voice. RV are deserving of the title of monster rookies and this just further shows the potential each member has to become even better performers (especially speaking about Irene and Yeri who get put down for not being able to "sing"). I'm excited to continue seeing this group grow more tbh

Yeri's voice is surprisingly really good! I always thought her voice was a bit too soft & not fully matured to sing live and longer parts, but she surprisingly sounds really good. And of course, I knew Irene was a good singer even if she always gets the rap parts. But I have to mention most of all of how AMAZING Joy looks. Her body, height, hair and everything is to die for!!!! As for Seulgi & Wendy, they will always be my powerful girls ❤️

Irene's situation is a little bit similar with Jhope's. Hope joined as a vocalist too but Bangtan has 4 vocalists and if he sings he would've got 1 second of singing. Same goes to Irene. Now, SM has been making Joy sing with 94line so Irene getting singing parts would be difficult even though we would want to hear their voices more. And you need to remember, chorus for title songs need to be sang by a stable vocalist since they will need to sing it live and all so if it was sang by someone who doesn't have enough stability they might as well just lip-sync. and to those who are hating on joy, she's the 3rd vocalist in rv so it makes more sense for her to sing more than yeri and irene. rv's positions changed a lot after yeri came so official positions are not the best source for you to judge. for bangtan taejin rarely even gets to sing 5 seconds since bighit has been making jungkook and rapmon sings half of their songs. actually i think rv's parts are divided quite okay except for yeri /sighs.

But for RV Eventhough they are focused on the 3 main vocals they still give irene and yeri the chance to show their vocal even if its small part.
+Ricca Buen Maribao RV has less members so sm can actually make some space for them to sing but bangtan has too many members compared to rv. jungkook's voice doesn't get tired easily so its a main reason hes the main vocal. rappers rarely gets to sing so im not really surprised by their parts division :3

Honestly I love the small groups that come out of SM (F(x), SHINee, TVXQ as examples) because they are so well rounded and the full package. Even if SM forces some to be rappers and not singers, when they do sing, they impress the audience with a very stable and clear voice. RV are deserving of the title of monster rookies and this just further shows the potential each member has to become even better performers (especially speaking about Irene and Yeri who get put down for not being able to "sing"). I'm excited to continue seeing this group grow more tbh

Yeri's voice is surprisingly really good! I always thought her voice was a bit too soft & not fully matured to sing live and longer parts, but she surprisingly sounds really good. And of course, I knew Irene was a good singer even if she always gets the rap parts. But I have to mention most of all of how AMAZING Joy looks. Her body, height, hair and everything is to die for!!!! As for Seulgi & Wendy, they will always be my powerful girls ❤️
