- With the first pre-season of master league just being released, I decided to try to climb my way up the ranks with the top meta ranked Pokemon for master league to see how they perform in this new league.

Brando, Mewtwo is amazing in PVP! I'm 28-2 in master league now and Mewtwo is on my team doing a big part :D Only 1 charge attack and lv38 as well.

I also participated in go battle with virizion, metagross and giratina but could not defeat my opponents last pokemon that was rayquaza
I am only level 27 so I used my three best Pokémon rock wrecker rhyperior 2900cp 2480 machamp and 2475 gyarados

To fix the 1 turn fast move issue you have to tap slower, ideally once per turn or 2 taps per second. If you tap faster the game can't keep up and assumes it's lag, that's why it immediately shows weak connection.

I surprisingly won 11 out of 15 with metagross rhyperior and gyarados! Don’t have some of the meta maxed out but those seemed to work well!

Anyone else feeling a little helpless heading into ML? I've never maxed out my pokemon and dont have a single Dialga or Giratina so dumping all my stardust to max out my pokemon feels like a waste when I know they are better pokemon out there
My problem right now is I may have some meta Pokémon, but nowhere near the lvl CP as needed and neither good amounts of candies not rares. It's kinda sad too.
Well there are some budget pokemon out there like Swampert, Togekiss, Metagross, Machamp and Snorlax for example. For some of those pokemon you can get new moves for 10K. Swampert, togepi, munchlax. And you might have some luckies or high level ones that require less dust to powerup. You won't have the best team perhaps. But for not that much stardust you could at least get a very decent team to do the battles with.

@@tomvanrijn9802 I've invested about 300k dust into my Metagross, Kyogre, Magnezone team and had decent success but I dont have a decent IV togekiss, and my 100% snorlax is like lvl 20 with no where near the candies to become competitive. My hope is they either limit uses of legendaries within some leagues or make them more attainable or else its basically P2W
@@brastly65 Honestly I thought from the start that PVP is to expensive and I didn't invest anything at the start because I was certain they would make it cheapier later, after many complaints, but they are still sticking with the original plan.
And yes I agree that for many people maxing out legendaries with a second move is just not a possibility, either financially or because of a rural location. Niantic definitely needs to think hard about a solution to make master league or pvp in general more accessible to ALL players.
I feel better now that I see your win % is around 60%. I was starting to get down after so many losses lol

There's a loss out of every win. So the average is definitely 50%, no doubt. That's how a look at it. Also the more you win, the higher your ratings is and you will face tougher opponents, then you will lose more.

He is player with highest exp, not the best player (if your context is pvp). If you want to look for best pvp player then maybe pokeAK is your guy

Hello Brandon take kyogre with blizzard and surf for the togekiss in that way you counter groudon dialga and girantina easily
I've been using:
- Lvl 36 Togekiss with Charm | Ancient Power | Flamethrower
- Lvl 40 Melmetal with Thunder Shock | Rock Slide | Superpower
- Lvl 40 Metagross with Bullet Punch | Meteor Mash | Earthquack
and I can get 3-4 wins each set!

Alonso's Passion thanks for the response. I was asking how when the larvitar attacked that it looked like he caught the ball back and thru it back. The fast catch I do often and it’s awesome but that thing he did looked so cool.

Is Metagross a lucky pokemon to get out of regular battles not premium I'm new kinda and don't know the normal reward
You tap too fast on the Dragon Breath and it will cause the 1-turn fast move glitch --> weak connection, lag etc. just tap slower to sync exactly to the move and not to queue so many

it says i am in go battle league but when i press battle the only option that comes up is master league which i always lose on just because i am lvl 23

This should be your shining point. Hundreds of raids per day. Should have every mon maxed and 100% with 2 charged moves. I dont 3ven have one

master league is the most pay to win. most people dont have seconds charge moves and maxed out legendaries so you have to fuck up real hard to lose if you indeed did pay to win

Hey Brandon.. just do like everyone else with screen recording the battles and commentating on it after the fact? It would be less stressful and you could count your moves and whatnot. 😁 Also I was rewarded a hundo scraggy from picking out on 5-0 in Master league with my hundo Kyogre... And psystrike Mewtwo... Lol.

I just got back from town. And as soon as i get in the house, i see a few messages on the discord server saying that a wild dragonite and 2 wild machamp were at the place I JUST CAME FROM😭
Try using charizard, poliwrath, and makuhitas evolution (can’t remember the name). But it’s basically unbeatable. All of my team gets their charged attacks almost immediately, and can switch out to counter almost anything. I just had my first flawless 6 win streak and every fight none of my Pokémon fainted. Should also mention they were all hundos
