I have made a couple of valences for another room, so I think I'm ready to give this a try. You went nice and slow and did not skip any steps, so I feel confident. Excellent teaching skills. Give yourself time! I found that if you make sure you make your knots really snug. I tighten mine up pretty tight, it is much more neat and clean, in my experience.

You just get right to it. don't chit chat about nothing! Not meaning to be rude to anyone! I just value my time And! You use Standard measurements. I'm an American Kid from the 70's they didn't teach us metrics! I can figure it out on my phone but it's one more thing. I don't like metrics! I actually wanted to ask you a question . I taught myself macrame' as a teenager. I mostly made plant hangers. So how do I know where and when to add extra string when doing double half hitches. When I am working on making a design of my own? I didn't know if there were any set rules to go by? Or guide line. If that makes any sense. Thank you!
When you cut off the excess cord for the berry knots do you ever use a dab of glue? I want to use this pattern in a wedding backdrop I’m making and was curious if it’s moved around much would it come undone? Love all your work, thank you!
Hey! Thank you! They shouldn’t come undone if you tie your square knots tight but yes to make it more secure I would recommend a dab of glue on each side where you’ve cut off the excess cord!
