Branch is one of the fastest guys I've ever seen on tape, ever (game speed, although I know his straight line speed is elite elite as well). And I've been a recruiting/draft dork for 30+ years. There is just no scenario outside of injury where he is not an elite elite game changer. Innis types that were supposedly cant miss I've seen boom and bust. It seems like QB and "possession" WR are the hardest positions to evaluate in HS (Vidal Hazleton, Patrick Turner, Julien Fleming anyone?). They will probably both be great.
Julian Fleming is only going into his Jr. Year & was playing behind 3x 1st round, & 2x top 10 overall draft picks. He's also dealt with injuries & missed 4 games. When Wilson & Olave sat out of the Rose Bowl he had 5 Receptions, he's going to be just fine. Just because you aren't a Biletnikoff Finalist your Freshman year doesn't mean you're going to be a bust.
@@dougieefresh1829 Yes I agree I don’t think he’s a bust at all. I just mean it’s more difficult to scout the non-burners because the skill of separation is pretty nuanced. I.e. telling the difference between Fleming and smith-njigba when they are playing different calibers of high school competition, etc. Fleming was rated higher iirc but JSN is very likely the better player.
I wholeheartedly agree bro, purely possession guys who aren’t necessarily burners are much harder to grade coming out of high school for a variety of reasons. The difference in why Inniss and Smith Njigba are so dominant similarly to Stefon Diggs, they’re elite route runners, that create separation from defenders with incredible foot speed and burst, and they are pro level ball carriers after the catch with great vision.

Wiltfong has Innis crystal balled to OSU - & he's rarely wrong ? - Tate has OSU & TENN as his top 2 but it's said they both are all in together for OHIO ST. ? --- We will know soon ! - I also heard they want 'developed' by Brian Hartline for 'the league" ?
This Buckeye receiving corps is about to be on another level, which should be absolutely frightening for anyone who has to play them in the next 3 years.

Mario Williams was 5’10 180 coming out of HS and now he is 5’11 190 and buffer than he was in High School, but Mario didn’t really have an impact his freshmen year cause there were people on the roster just as fast and bigger than him at the time, but now he gotten bigger so he is guaranteed to start at USC

Inniss is headed to Ohio State, not USC. Just like USC thought they were getting Raiola, OSU said “not so fast my friend, gimme dat” and stole your favorite toy. He used to be a USC lean, but crystal balls rolling in from Wilfong and others for OSU. You don’t keep up with recruiting do you?
Raiola would likely have to sit for 2-3 years behind Malachi Nelson who is a much better prospect. No big deal. There’s other fish out there.

Who's better? Innis! And it's not even close. Branch is faster and a bit shiftier as a playmaker but Innis is a better overall WR.
Innis is overrated and has been riding the hype of playing at a big time Florida school as a freshman. He hasn’t really progressed that much since then and is a typical possession WR. Branch is one of the fastest players in the country and is a score from anywhere on the field, lightning in a bottle type. Dude is baby Tyreek Hill.

2. WR Jurrion Dickey - Oregon
Jurrion Dickey showed the most complete and translatable skill set of any wide receiver in Las Vegas. The Oregon commit was at the mercy of targets and the ball coming his way, but did more on his opportunities than any pass catcher we saw.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder was the most physically-developed wide receiver on hand. He has outstanding play strength despite still being just 16-years-old. Dickey separated himself from other big receivers with his advanced movement skills. Simply put, he has considerable juice both in the route and after catch phases. Nobody ran routes harder than Dickey - and it showed. He was open all weekend, whether the ball was coming his way or not. We saw the Bay Area product win at all levels - deep, intermediate, short and after the catch. His best play on Sunday came on a long touchdown catch, where he beat the corner on a seam for a full-field touchdown. Sometimes wide receivers can take advantage of the 7-on-7 format by making non-translatable plays, particularly underneath. That was not the case here - you didn’t have to squint to see the plays that Jurrion Dickey made translating to 11-on-11 padded football. Dickey ranks as the No. 35 overall prospect in the On300.
