I just wanted to say thank you for your extra long form content. My pup was sick this last week and having your stuff play in the background as we camped out in the living room while she recovered helped tons. Very calm and exciting to see how you did this! Inspiring me to get RCT3 installed again :)
If you see the extended coaster use it, it allows you to do anything that the other coasters don’t allow such as staying upside down and becoming an inverted coaster apparently, next time you see it place it down, it’s the best coaster type in game it allows you to do what you want whether it’s your dream design or a guests worst nightmare can be brought to life with this ride build it a sectionupside down next time you get it and use that section to increase excitement and intensity Edit: also there are g force results
For the giant flume you have to make a body of water with the terrain tool in order for the splash down to work and the ride was heavily inspired by the intamin giant flume, an example being the defunct perilous plunge that was at knotts berry farm in California or the still operating drenched at oakwood theme park in wales
I'm a little late to the party but the issue with the elephant is they couldn't get to their feeder because there was something blocking where they eat at that particular feeder Hold food on the outside not on the inside
I have played A LOT of RCT3 in my old days, yet there's still new stuff to uncover. I never even noticed the option for building pool pieces at distinct heights. As for the "Slide End to Lift Hill" pieces on the slide: These are meant to build a lifthill up on one side for the empty mats. At the top, you can build the station where folks enter the mats. Then it's a regular slide to the end piece. That makes it possible to get a full circuit out of it and the mats won't have to disappear in the water.
Just posting this as I still watch, so you may have found this out on your own by now: animal houses tend to cause issues, unless a one-tile-wide ring around it is fully routable (so no slopes and also no trees directly next to the animal house!).
@@Lucklyist What the heck, I know this was the early 2000's but how was a kid playing this for the first time supposed to guess that the animal caretakers can't work around a tree LOL Thanks for pointing that out, I'll be sure to not place anything adjacent to animal houses.
The Maurer x-car coaster is actually made to only have two cars per train as seen on rip ride rockit but some have one car an example being formula at drievilet or shock at magicland
Have you tried the auto finish would be interesting to see on some of the rides you design. Grew up playing this game brings back so many many memories. Also Mix Master is fireworks
I’d love to see you play through the Planet Coaster campaign after this… it’s the same development team, and has a lot of the same elements, just with better building mechanics. Also, would love to see a sandbox or custom scenario pls through on RCT3, possibly with some custom scenery and coasters? Anywho… love the videos, keep it up!
@@azungu1190 can I recommend looking at the commands and cheats too? Through some clever editing and sometimes just cheat commands you can put scenery on/next to paths, allow tracks to intersect scenery/paths (such as making a level crossing for a railway!) and other such details.. can really bring a lot of the restrictions out and open up building options!
Also the extended coaster is also based on a real life coaster type called the Maurer x-car, an example being Hollywood rip ride rockit at universal or the now defunct g-force at Drayton manor in the uk
That's really cool. Do you know if the real life examples have those crazy looking diving loops? I saw those in the game and thought to myself something like that would probably make someone pass out from all the blood rushing to their head 😆
I think it's just the trains inspired by Maurer. Apart from that, this is just regular B&M track with all of the options of the floorless, twister and hyper twister coasters and then some. Though Maurer's "Shock" at MagicLand in Italy seems to feature a non-inverting loop that is similarly tilted to the side. You can change out the coaster cars, though, anyway, if you want to get higher capacity trains. There's a button for It in the menu below where you can adjust the number of cars and trains.
@@azungu1190closest you would have probably got was the Cuban 8 loop, how ever g-force did have an upside down chain which led into the first inversion
I have a park with a massive pool complex and I have a bunch of slides tangled in it, the park comes with a massive pool complex, a tower coaster, 3 massive giga coasters, an extended coaster, a junior coaster, a floorless coaster, and much more
There are a few scenarios where you're not allowed to modify the terrain like this one, so be careful where your rides try to put themselves. The Mix Master is for firework/lazer displays. You'll need that in some later levels :p

awesome another RCT video. thanks. keep up the good work.
Thanks!

I figured it was for something like that as I thought about it after recording. Do the guests carry the mats to the bottom of the hill?

@@azungu1190If I recall that correctly, the mats are beamed to the lift hill, so no animations for guests carrying them there.

I keep forgetting auto complete is a thing 😅

Thanks! I plan to release a sandbox video, perhaps after I finish career mode so I can showcase everything I learned, from noob to pro 😆

Oh boy, should I be worried about the fireworks? 😂
They're a little confusing at first, but pretty cool once you've figured them out.
Very ice!
Tip: if you name a guest this exact name spelled like this you will get unlimited height
Name it like this: John wardley
Nice! An Easter egg! The only one I knew was David Walsh, which allows me to take screenshots without the UI
