Good thing when the airport upon arrival wasn't that busy so you could pick up the suitcase quickly and hit the road to catch the the next city before heavy traffic. Good morning Fanda! I used my iPhone on the airplane- no special lens! I was really happy with how it turned out too- I think my window was nice and clean- sometimes that can make it hard to get a good video or photo. We had some lovely warm evenings, thanks!
You looked very much at home in the palace. Beautiful place. We spent a couple of nights in Udaipur in a small hotel with a roof top restaurant that overlooked the lake. Dinner was by torchlight! There were even fireworks over the Lake Palace Hotel. We loved wandering between Palaces, the City and lake. Amazing place. This was somewhere I had wanted to visit since years ago watching a James Bond movie, Octopussy, that was in part set here. That night view you ended with looked amazing.
Hi Albert and Ivor- I’m really happy to hear that you visited Udaipur too! We had great time, though we didn’t see any fireworks! We had a very nice dinner outside at a restaurant on the lake with a view of the city and Palace. I should watch that old James Bond movie again now that I’ve been to Udaipur. 😄⭐️⭐️

In Udaipur we went to the City Palace, the Monsoon Palace and a few other things in the old town. Lake Pichola is very pretty - there’s a palace/ hotel in the middle. When did you visit? Good morning Fanda! I used my iPhone on the airplane- no special lens! I was really happy with how it turned out too- I think my window was nice and clean- sometimes that can make it hard to get a good video or photo. We had some lovely warm evenings, thanks!
You looked very much at home in the palace. Beautiful place. We spent a couple of nights in Udaipur in a small hotel with a roof top restaurant that overlooked the lake. Dinner was by torchlight! There were even fireworks over the Lake Palace Hotel. We loved wandering between Palaces, the City and lake. Amazing place. This was somewhere I had wanted to visit since years ago watching a James Bond movie, Octopussy, that was in part set here. That night view you ended with looked amazing.
Hi Albert and Ivor- I’m really happy to hear that you visited Udaipur too! We had great time, though we didn’t see any fireworks! We had a very nice dinner outside at a restaurant on the lake with a view of the city and Palace. I should watch that old James Bond movie again now that I’ve been to Udaipur. 😄⭐️⭐️
India is amazing, isn't it. I remember it as being very busy! I visited Rajasthan, but not Udaipur. So curious what you did on your 3 days out there. 😊
@@StepsbyKaatje Hi, yes, there are lots of people- fun to see all the activity! I really enjoyed seeing a bit of Rajasthan. In Udaipur we went to the City Palace, the Monsoon Palace and a few other things in the old town. Lake Pichola is very pretty - there’s a palace/ hotel in the middle. When did you visit? Hi, Jen! Next day, next flight, next city! 😂 You took photos of scenes that are perhaps typical of India: people without helmets on motorbikes, lots of scooters, tuk-tuks, splashes of color and box-like houses on the side of the road. Very interesting! Cheers, Christiane and Werner

@JenniferLupine We only did 2 weeks. Delhi, Agra & Jaipur then flew down to North & South Goa for beach time. Defo need to go back and spend longer.
