The 2B HB H etc has to do with the softness/hardness or density of the lead. H hard B soft HB middle. This affects the density of your lines. Hope that helps :)
I have many mechanical pencils and lead holders from companies like Staedtler, Pentel, Penmate and Alvin. I bought this set to have a cheap travel set for quick scetches, so far they are worth what they cost. Not up to the standards of the other brands but definitely not junk. I didn't use the leads the came in the set because it's to hard for my tastes but I really like the erasers.
Once again the background music ruins a youtube video. Music in the intro is great ...then fade out. Constant music playing in the background competing with narration is a dealbreaker. Stop doing this.

You should have tried to add new lead to the small diameter pencils. I cannot get the lead into the small ones and have it engage the adjuster.
price is great for the set, would cost more if made from usa
