And if you didn't know this already, notice that he offers up the truly unimportant Clifford Odets as his hero/role model. Odets plays are both unreadable and un-experienceable (which is not a word, I know) and anyone taking a hack's advice has little chance of ever becoming anything but a hack himself. Miller's more polished, but so, too, are my shoes, which I just had waxed. My shoes would prove lousy playwrights, as well by the way.Good for him he got to boink Marilyn, though.
