Thank you! I really like the hobby lobby I love this yarn as well. The ILTY sport weight doesn’t seem to have the same consistency as the weight 4 - but I still like it. I would love more yarn review videos! The suggestions for what to make with the reviewed yarn are SUPER helpful as well!!
You are so welcome! I always like to watch review videos and wanted to give more than just "I like it, I don't like it" so I'm glad you find the extra info helpful! Plus it's a good way for me to shoutout other wonderful creators (and give my own patterns a plug LOL).
Hello and thank you for doing this video. You just popped up on my UA-cam feed. I love the I Love This Yarn too. It is so soft. I would be very interested to know your thoughts on Brava Worsted or bulky from KnitPicks/WeCrochet and Paintbox & Stylecraft from LoveCrafts. All have great color range and price.
What a great review! Had not used the Hobby Lobby yarn or the Joann's yarn, so it's nice to hear about them. Going to give them a try! I so agree about the first two. A soft acrylic I've enjoyed is the Caron simply soft. But it's not a true worsted weight, imo. And some of the colours are nice, but I feel like there aren't enough nice colours. So, yeah. Colour selection is a selling point! Going to check out your etsy because that sweater pattern you showed looks AMAZING!!!!
Please do! I've got a lot of great patterns on my Etsy, well in my own opinion ;) I have used Caron Simply soft but I find it splits easily when using it to crochet, I much prefer to knit with it.
@@Totally_Stitchcraft Ah, yes-I have noticed that about simply soft, now that you mention it. So wish I knew how to knit, too. : / I should look-maybe you have some knitting instruction on your channel, too! ^^
Yes I have, I ordered some recently and it may just be this one yarn but its called 'milk cotton' and yet its 100% acrylic. I think they can get away with this since 'milk cotton' is just the name... I'm going to include it on my next video about using cotton yarns :)
I got several Red Heart O'go yarn wheels from Michael's when they were on sale. I do not like it at all! I'm pretty new to crochet but I just know I did not like the fact that it knotted up a lot and it just would not slide well on my hook. I even tried different hooks. Ugh!
Oh wow! What a total bummer! Have you tried to look on some second hand websites for yarn (FB marketplace, offer up, etc.) it can be a great way to get a lot of yarns to try. then you can re-sell the ones you don't like or won't use :)

Hello! Have you ever tried milk cotton? I've heard of it but I don't know enough about it to consider using it.

^ I will say it is a very soft acrylic
@@Totally_Stitchcraft I'll be looking forward to it then!

I hate it. But I find it useful when learning as I don't want to use my expensive yarn to practice.
It is definitely a useful tool to learn new things when you don't want to use expensive yarns
