25:57 A tram would have a hard time going up that slope. Instead of raising the tracks, I would lower the road that goes underneath a bit (keeping the tram bridge, but not as high, and compensating for it with the lower road). Nice video :D
On a university campus you should avoid secondary streets with so many lanes, to make it more realistic they should be either pedestrian or single lane. Except for avenues. Very good video.❤❤❤
I guess that depends on the university, because many of the Universities where I live are integrated with the city rather seemlessly. And those are the types from which I drew inspiration for this build.
Now that is a PACKED episode. Not only was the massive university campus built, but also all of the various new public transport stations that comes with the new campus. And it's all looking pretty neat, though I noticed that you didn't fully connect one of the tram stations that's in the direction of downtown. The station is the one that used be the terminus station. I did see someone complain about the strange scaling of the Vanilla assets, especially with the medical university, though honestly I think it isn't too unreasonable as some modern buildings may tend to have taller ceilings, and thus taller buildings in general. And plus, the newer buildings may be built to stand out in mind. I would love to see you play around with the assets of the new french pack in other areas of the region, maybe to serve as the old towns. Maybe it can even serve as the old towns of the smaller towns since the buildings of the pack are shorter than usual. Nice episode as always, I might've written a bit too much for this comment, but I don't think that's an issue.
Ah... I think you were right _not_ to have a train station so close. Metro yes, but not heavy rail. The trams more than suffice. (And this is coming from a definite train addict) Good move on removing the French hospital: looks more like a prison than a univ building. But that space for sports at the end? Cricket pitch? If there's any room left of course... Oh, and the tram line you extended: I don't think you re-connected the station that was the previous terminus.

Sanctum. What about lights? The new station seems dangerous and dark at night... Last night my girlfriend was robbed there! 😂 We need lights! Speaking truly...I want to see the city at night...I don't know if CS2 improved the graphics for night view (at the beginning was horrible). But I believe is important to take care of "night view" too
Absolutely beautiful build. I'm surprised you did not use the French housing build and create an Old Town , French district development. Also, there needs to be a more direct connection, via bridge or tunnel, to connect the university campus together.

I didn't modify it before building if that's what you mean. I am terraforming as I go along. Maybe at some point I can remove everything and just be left with the landscape and trees? I can upload that if you wish.
Seeing the cinematics at the end of the episode makes me wonder what the campus area would look like if you buried the highway through there and have the campus some more green space.
Why don't you make the highway underground and make a total university campus above the highway? Its really bothering for people to go to interchange everytime just to cross highway.

The way the major arterial road ends after the medical campus is very poor design. There needs to be more connectivity to the roads around it otherwise it remains a high traffic culdesac
Damn the scale of those french buildings doesn't match at all the scale of the vanilla buildings. That hospital at 34:30 is tiny compared to the university, even though it has more floors. Or the french school across the street for that matter. Same thing with the fire and police stations. One would think after 10 years and two games they would set some kind of measurement standards, but no. CO being CO as usual.
@@tobbakken2911 Two buildings of a similar time period (mid/late 1800s) and of similar architectural styles will have similar floor heights. Having a 2 story building absolutely dwarf a 5 story building is absurd. I think you're trying to argue just for the sake of argument and I'm not gonna partake. Have a nice day.

Made you could do a stadium on the left side of the campus by the highway. I think adding that would definitely complement the build!

I'll keep that French district idea in mind for a future build! And I did add a bridge connecting up the two sides.
I dunno maybe sinking or embanking the highway so it isn't on ground level, might make the other side feel less disconnected
