I resent the term Fee Dodger. Millions of people choose to stream only and use the catch-up service instead of live TV.

The thing is it seems the BBC don’t understand their own rules. If you don’t use live television like BBC iplayer or broadband TV, and instead you say only watch Netflix on your TV you don’t need a license end of.

They are now working on a licence needed for Netflix and others now that they are starting to livestream some things.

We are not all dodgers. I watch no live TV. Therefore I do not require a licence. You cannot call people who do not use a service a dodger. I cannot state clear enough. If you watch no live TV....as its broadcast nor use the iplayer you do not need a license.

They spent a lot chasing me. But got nowhere because I don't watch them.
So cancel your license. Get your refund. The more that do that, the less they get and the more they have to spend harassing people who hate them

Check the facts. You don’t need a tv licence if you don’t watch or record live tv or use bbc iplayer. So they may not be dodgers as the bbc likes to paint them they may not need a licence

Basically what I’m saving to be honest, these “dodgers” most likely simply don’t need one, sure some may be doing all the things you need a license for. However, I believe that most of these dodgers don’t pay simply because of the fact they don’t use live TV.

Single women with children in prisons for non payment of TV licence, more than men or elderly. Rip Jill Dando.

Jill Dando new everything. They liquidated her, and come up with some claptrap story about terrorists. Cliff (kitty) richarse was last person to speak to her on mobile in Hammersmith while she was driving home. Rip Jill Dando.

In 2014, a retired BBC colleague claimed anonymously that Dando had been looking into a pedophile ring involving "surprisingly big names" just months before her death in 1999.
The anonymous source stated they did not want to implicate anyone specifically, but alleged Dando had handed over a dossier of her findings to BBC management.
However, the BBC stated they had seen no evidence to support the claims that Dando was investigating a pedophile ring within the corporation.
The theory emerged after the Jimmy Savile sexual abuse scandal broke in 2012, but no direct links between Dando's alleged investigation and Savile or others were established.
The police investigation into Dando's murder did not find any credible evidence that she was looking into a pedophile ring or that this was a motive for her killing.
Dando was investigating pedophiles at the BBC, there is no substantive proof or details provided to corroborate this as a factor in her unsolved murder case.

It's insane people are going to prison for not paying to watch TV!! Prison for goodness sake. Rapists and thief don't even go to prison in this country right now, yet if you don't pay a TV licence, you're going to prison. It's insane 😡

Prince Andrew has been accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre when she was 17 years old, but he has consistently denied the allegations and has not faced criminal charges.
Virginia Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew in 2021, alleging he sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was underage, including at Jeffrey Epstein's properties in New York, the US Virgin Islands, and London.
Prince Andrew has denied Giuffre's claims, stating in a 2019 BBC interview that he had no recollection of meeting her and that her account "didn't happen."
In February 2022, Prince Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre, reportedly paying her around $12 million, though he did not admit any wrongdoing.
The Metropolitan Police in the UK reviewed the case but decided not to take further action against Prince Andrew due to a lack of evidence.
While Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell were convicted of sex trafficking crimes, Prince Andrew has not faced criminal prosecution related to Epstein's activities.
Prince Andrew stepped down from public duties in 2019 due to the scandal and criticism over his ties to Epstein, but he has maintained his innocence regarding the allegations made by Giuffre.
While Prince Andrew settled the civil case, he has avoided criminal prosecution despite the serious allegations made against him involving the sexual abuse of a minor at Epstein's properties

The BBC has spent £169 million chasing and targeting TV licence fee dodgers, which has been criticized as a "blatant waste of money" by the TaxPayers' Alliance.
This expenditure includes payments of £33.8 million per year to logistics companies Whistl and Royal Mail for handling TV licence fee enforcement.
The BBC's actions to pursue those evading the mandatory TV licence fee have drawn backlash, with accusations that they are unfairly "targeting the most vulnerable" individuals.
Critics argue that these substantial costs could be better allocated towards improving programming and services for licence fee payers.

I have not had a licence for the past 15 years, I do not need one as I do not watch tv. The BBC send me letters all the time telling me I need one, no, I don't, yet they waste all that money trying to force us all to get one, whether we need it or not.

Whatever the opinions on the TV license model & the enforcement regime, if their £169 million enforcement spend results in more than £169 million extra license revenue, it makes sense for them. I neither have a TV license nor watch broadcast TV but accept the line of reasoning. It's similar to HMRC or Local Councils pursuing tax evaders "as they see it". Although the way TV Licensing try to do it is probably stacking up ever more opposition to the TV Licensing "model".

The BBC are on to a good thing. Five billion for nothing every year.No wonder they are so reluctant to give it up.I Don't know how they get away with it.If these Salesmen knock on your door, either don't open it, or open it,ask who they are.As soon as they say tv licensing.Slam the door.
