This is the most unfair thing which happened to stranger set.
1 year ago when it came for the first time,
Both shadow onslaught & shadow blast
(weapon & ranged shadow abilities)
Were totally unbreakable even by other abilities
Now they nerfed it
I don't understand why nerfing a paid set
stranger is the strongest character in the game so it does make sense for his set to be powerful
But this set has nothing to do at all with stranger's abilities
(dashing is originally kibo's ability).
Technically kings but meh

The event is bugged for me, no event introduction and the the real challenge fight is broken, you can't touch stranger like literally, your attack phases through him, legit phasing through him 😂

Try abdicator set.

Try abdicator with Spiked armor perk
For f2p players use abdicator mine is on lvl 2 and I already completed this marathon
Perks :-
Helm :- mountain (lvl max) , field medicine (lvl2)
Armour :- damage return (lvl8), damage absorption (lvl9), spiked Armour (lvl8)
Weapon :- berserk(lvl7), shadow burn (lvl7), bleeding(lvl7)
Move:-
Weapon :- guillotine (max)
Armour :- doesn't really matter 😅
Gameplan :-
Spam him with guillotine until his back is against the wall then throw him to the other side and start spamming guillotine again and rinse and repeat

I didn't expected that stranger will be actually hardest boss of all these paid sets bosses. Even my anibot really struggles against him.
@@user-uw8rx8sf9b Yeah, you're right. But now, he is no longer as OP as he was during the last few hours of release. The minor updates rolled out a few times have weakened him a bit.
Everyone who's having a tough time with this boss should use the vampire lord set( lvl 4 and above) with
*field medicine and rock for the helm
Damage absorption, damage return and spiked armor for the armor.
No need to worry about weapon perks because you're just gonna let him land critical hits on you and that will be his own suicide💀.
Don't worry about losing because if you have enough rot energy(30% and above) you will be revived while he bleeds out.
The timing is up to you though. When he lands a critical hit on you, wait till his critical hit is recharged, then you fake an attack to make him use it.
You can revive an infinite number of times so don't worry about the damage you take and all you need is the rot energy.

For my fellow F2P players out there, the stranger is beatable.
I used the level 3 abdicator set and here are the perks I had equipped
Helmet - Rock (Helps you stay on your feet)
Armor - Damage Return, Spiked Armor, Price of Victory (The first two punish your opponent when he hits you. The third one will interact with you weapon perk)
Weapon - Berserk, Shadow Burn, Bleeding/Basher (Berserk interacts with your armor perk "Price of Victory" to boost your damage)
Keep lowering his health as long as you can. When he brings you down to zero, finish him off with crits

@@amanjoshi9352 yup you're right. You can't attack him directly, slam him first then you can attack him. FYI if you didn't open the game yesterday, Stranger has been nerfed via several minor updates. So he won't be as difficult as he was on Wednesday afternoon.

Jujur,ini adalah overpower boss paling buat frustasi sih,mulai dari si Stranger yg selalu nge dash saat kita menyerang,serangan sekecil apapun dia akan tetap nge dash. Kedua adalah dari perk yg dia pakai,asli nekki mikirin apa sih sampai boss event dikasih perk segala!? Udah dia mesti nge heal pakai Probably Resonator,Ada Static Amplifier yg ngasih paralyze,dan perk Accumulation yg buat dia bisa isi shadow bar dengan cepat. Asli,aku udah coba pakai trik banting tetap aja susah,pakai set Shadow Colossus juga masih sering kerepotan,bahkan Anibot pun dibuat kewalahan
Itu masih mending lu belum kena bug hantu lu hit malah gak kena😂

I defeat hard mode 4 times using this combination.

I just uninstalled this garbage game. They have nothing else to offer than release new over the top sets and expect players to pay them money. There is no more stories, no more adventures nothing but sets that stops you from having a chance at fighting them in a fighting fuckung game. They release an overpowered set in the hands of an AI, but nerfed in the hands of the players. Level 6 Anibot set is useless against stranger set, but I bet you when Anibot set comes back again, Level 6 Stranger set in players hand can't beat AI Anibot. Rubbish. Deleting all Nekki games in my phone

@@UchindamiKayira i used abdicator but damage absorption wasn't upgraded and before that in anger of losing I spent all the gems(forgot their name) to upgrade another perk.still I got it done with cotp
