That's the dpf pressure sensor hose, there's another at the back of the dpf. Brings up injector fault when split. Common fault on Renault 1.5 diesel engines in Nissan juke, Renault kangoo, Mercedes citan to name a few.
Found on another channel(Cannot remember what) if like me you had "Injection Fault" and "Check emmisions" signs simply start the engine and unplug the MAF sensor. If it is OK the engine will stop. If it is bad then the engine will continue to run. Changed mine (thanks to Dads Garage) and used ODB hand rig (cheap off ebay)to clear faults. No issues so far! Still get about 20 secs of beeping on start up but no lights or messages! But I do not think it is connected.
I've had this fault on my van for about 3 years. I clear the fault with the obd scanner but now know what's causing it, exactly the same code. I have to sort out the egr too, not looking forward to that.
Hi mate ,can you help ,i have the same problem ,,is the pipe you showed us a pipe other than the 2 pipes that run from the filter back to the tank .ie not a fuel pipe ?mines is a 2012 2 ltr 115 bhp, thanks George
Mine has two little splits in it, and is giving same error. I've taped it up for now, and will clear the error when my ODB2 thingy arrives. Does anyone know what size the pipe is to replace?

hi pal.did u ever get your van fixed. I have the smoke problem starting from cold.van is in limp mode.mechanic says I need 2 new injectors. but I'm not convinced. thanks
What symptoms did you have? I have 2.0lt vivaro 2010 and it seems to have a tiny miss fire then the glow plug and spanner light come on and it runs fine for about 30seconds then the lights go off and it's missing again all be it very subtle then lights again and so on. Light usually come on after about 2000 revs any ideas? Oh and no codes showing as when it's idling or just ignition lights then the fault isn't showing
In my Renault traffic van, the stop light comes on when going down hill or go over bumps. Doesn't happen on the level and goes off when i get on the level. Doesn't happen going up hill. Any ideas please m8 ?
It was a leaking brake pipe,it was coroded,I realized the brake fluid level was low, I topped it up and it stopped happening for a couple of days, but then started again. And then my brakes went. Lucky I managed to reduce speed into a layby and stop with handbrake. The brake pipe had totally bust and the fluid emptied out.
It'll point to which wheel the fault will be at You'll then have to investigate to see if it's a faulty sensor, broken sensor ring or wheel bearing etc. In my case in a previous video it was a broken sensor ring.
Mine eventually done that after turning the eml light off a few times so had to sort the problem. Get a code reader on it, hopefully it'll show up something.
If it's the same problem, you should be able to turn the light off and continue. But you'll have to fix the problem as it'll come back on again. I left mine for a while and it went into limp mode, that's why I decided to fix it.

This van doesn't have a dpf

A simple fix really after the initial panic of seeing the warning light!

What was the code reader you used ? Thanks
Hi mate what obd scanner did you use for this please.
Did you find out where the tube went, what it does. Massive hole in mine too.
It attaches to a pressure sensor on the exhaust at the rear of the engine. I just cut mine and inserted a joining piece which was fine.
@@garageofdad did you notice exhaust fumes / stink when this pipe is split ? Thanks

The rubber hand pump may have a leak or the filter bowl seal may need tightening also check the fuel pipe clamps are ok. Does the van run ok?
@@garageofdad Van seems to be running ok at the moment. No leaks in hand pump, very frustrating! Thanks for feedback!
I believe there are 2 non return valves inside these bulbs so you dont have to see a leak for it to be faulty

To enter injector codes in, you'll need an advanced diagnostic tool or someone who has one. It's not something I have done in the past unfortunately.
