Thank you for showing the quieter eastern side of the river, which is where I would stay if I am so lucky to be able to travel to Cambodia. The Classy Hotel appears to have a very large swimming pool and must have an elevator, which in my old age I need to live on any floors above ground level. I do not understand Khmer (I do speak Vietnamese and French) but if I came I would learn at least a little bit.
I also prefer the eastern side because it is where the Muslim Cham people live. I am an amateur Champa researcher having wrote a Masters thesis in Geography (University of Hawaii, USA) in 1972 that was the first reconstruction of the ancient Champa economy. If I was to reside in Southeast Asia, it would be in Cambodia because of its geographic proximity to Vietnam, and because of its Visa policies.
