Great job - excellent thorough explanation each step in each video - hats off to you sir. God bless you. Keep videos posting. I can watch your videos again and again. Thanks
I don’t do ice machines, but I see inexcusable quality & service like this every day now. Nothing is built right and nobody cares because you’re usually trapped into using that mfg’s products. I feel for you JMT… Oh, and what’s up with that water? Didn’t I see you install that filter a few weeks ago??
Unfortunately, a lot of things are just over engineered and produced with poor quality these days. It is true, nobody cares and it gives up techs a bad look when we did a proper installation. Need OEM parts for units like this for sure. I did install that whole new water filter setup a few weeks ago. There was no filtration system for this ice maker previously. Now the machine broke down again and it was just time for a new setup. Thing was 11 years old, rusting away and causing many service calls. That's just how gross the filters get. Thats why I stay away from ice from ice makers and don't drink tap water 😂 Even in NYC, I don't trust it. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
Another Great Video as always. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend. It is sad to see new unit come with defective . I'm waiting for watch part 2 repair and start up ^_^
Thank you! You're welcome. It is sad to see and it makes us look bad but it came this way from the manufacturer. It's sad we have to fix it and they won't give us a new one. Part 2 coming tomorrow! Have a great weekend 🔧⚡️
Thats wild. It really does suck. It's sad that they operate this way. I'm sure the customer has suspicions that it was a poor installation and it's not fair for anyone. Guess it's time to search for the leak & fix it. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
That sux. No company will ever give you a new unit. You have to repair it and bill them. My company does warranty all the time on the service side. They basically have a set price that they pay for what you find. You nitro silfos gas and refrigerant. Oh, and 1hr travel no matter how far.
Definitely sucks. It would be a lot better if they gave them a new unit. Yup, apparently this is how this works. Ahh man. What I'm worried about is that set price they will pay vs our invoice. Spent a good amount of time troubleshooting, picking up supplies and making this repair. Troubleshooting video will release tomorrow and the repair after that. Thanks for watching & commenting regarding your experience 🙏🔧⚡️
It really is terrible. Honestly can't believe that I need to repair a brand new unit instead of them sending us a new one. I agree. Thanks for watching! 🔧 ⚡️
@JumpermanTech I worked at a hotel as maintenance. We had 8 PTAC units inop that came in new. They sent some guy to work on them in park lot . I said he'll no I don't want butchered up units . I want new ones what we paid for. BTW we're you able to get your client up and running yet?
