Lego Medieval War | The Black Falcons campaign Lego Stop Motion

- No new content, just the mini-series put together in one video for new viewers & convenience (and a brief plot for the video).
The Black Falcons are awaiting to crown their soon-to-be king, lord Truemane. While a patrol of Black Falcons are escorting the crown and other treasures back to Truemane's keep, they are intercepted by a Viking raiding party. After a brief and bloody battle, the Vikings take all the treasures they can and make an escape for their homeland.
Lord Truemane knows he can't have the support of everyone in his domain without the crown. Truemane is overtaken by his need for revenge and decides to rally his troops and intercept the Vikings on the way to their longboats. Truemane and his army manage to catch the Vikings in a small canyon and attempt to take on the full force of the raiding party on their own. After a short stalemate, the vikings quickly gain the advantage and begin to sweep through Truemane's infantry. Fortunately for the Black Falcons, an allied cavalry regiment was on their way to their castle when they stumbled upon the bloody scene. In a quick, split-second decision, the general leads a cavalry charge into the Vikings' rear ultimately dismantling them and returning the crown to the rightful owners.
The Black Falcons arrive at their keep and are surprised that they have new guests that don't intend on leaving. A group of rebel black Falcons donning red and green armour have taken over and don't see Truemane as the legitimate leader of their kingdom. A siege on the keep commences, after lots of waiting around and volleys of arrows being exchanged, the Black Falcons decide to lead a charge on the castle walls. The Black Falcons defeat the rebels, taking some prisoners. Lord Truemane is genuinely confused as to how the rebels could be so well equipped and funded. It's as if another rival kingdom or group has interfered. - Фільми й анімація
I liked the joke when he said that many of the soldiers were too old to fight, the camera turned to vintage Black Falcon minifigs
Haha happy you caught that😂

As usual this was a incredible stop motion. Loved every part of it and it’s great to see the medieval theme shown so well in Lego!
Thanks! Your comments always make my day
Love how you removed the horns of the “Viking” helmets for more historical accuracy
Dude the way you had them shoot arrows was so crisp and very impressive!
Thanks! Took a bit of practice but i think it paid off
"FOR ROHANNNNN!"
I love the historical tactics used.
This was incredibly well done! One of the few animations that uses real Medieval Combat strategies!
Thanks i appreciate it! Hard to translate lots of details to lego but i did my best
Absolutely epic. Maybe the best medieval battle I have seen in Lego
Wow that means a lot! Thanks
Love the idea of Vikings verse blacknfalcons
4:04 WHEN THE WINGED HUSSARS ARIVED!
😂😂
This is amazing and absolutely well done. However the Vikings would have been fucking destroyed after charging into a shield wall
This is a war level, like the first war between Goguryeo and Tang Dynasty.
МОЁ УВАЖЕНИЕ АВТОРУ!!!!!!!
it's too great for my brain
Also incredible description!
Thank you! Tried to add some story to my videos, upcoming videos will really expand on the black falcons
Awesome
This had no right being as good as it is. And we are even blessed with part 2 the storming of the castle!
Part three is gonna be even better🤌
Sooooo good! The screen at 2:46 looks so slick!!
Thanks!
I loved those custom sheilds
Thanks!! Took a minute to put together but i think it was worth it

I've been looking for good medieval lego battles after memorizing every frame of brictator's battles
Lol the guy is a legend, makes sense
Relatable
Good
Nothing like an epic cav charge to save the day .
this is awesome thx
Thanks! That means a lot! You’ve been a huge source of inspiration for me
good, yes very good. however the king is just like hmmmmm yes and a soldier is having his intestines fall out
😂😂 pretty much
Nice
What was hard work! Really good video!
If you’ll ever want to make an medieval Poland or polish-Lithuania related stopmotion, then the torso that those rebels have, can be put backwards, and will look like polish knights’s armor. Btw amazing animation bro, keep up good work
Havent thought about that, but good tip. Might have to have make a video with winged hussars. Also thanks for the support!
@@brickdominion1406 didn’t thought you’ll see my comment, actually this made my day. And no problem
@@basedtrooper_isuperblok199 haha happy i could do that, always try to read all of my comments

This is amazing! Best I've seen in months
Thanks! more on the way soon
I like how you make the vikings. They haven't got horns on helmet like in real history
WOw this is so cool. I've subbed. Keep up the great work
Thank you!
Dang you keep the Viking helmets historical because they really did not have Horns on them
Very well made i love it
so beautiful movie🤩. I want to see more like this
very well done man
Thanks!
Great series. Was it based on any real-life battles or wars, or just something you wanted to make?
Thanks! Wasnt directly based on any conflict. Just something i wanted to make
Just 3am things lols now feel alive watching these 🤣
I love the native language you put on all the troops I love it
Thanks! Trying to get as many little details in as i can
Nice medieval brickfilm battle! It is very well made that's why I subscribe to your channel ;)
Thank you!
hi, where did you get those custom black falcon shields? they look really cool
Custom made, blank grey ovoid shields from bricklink with custom made stickers i found online. Printed them out on photo paper and and put a layer of tape on top for extra protection
My usual Battle Brothers playthrough lol.
😂
looking good for me right away and
Amazing. Where do the torsos for the rebels come from? With chain on the front and red with the black falcon emblem on the back?
I got it directly from the lego store. They had it as a pre built minifigure for a bit. not sure if you can still get it from there though. Best bet right now would be bricklink
Yo man!! this series is amazing, whats your next idea?
Thank you! Thinking of taking a short break on the series and recreating a medieval battle. Right now im thinking about a part two of the battle of stamford bridge. But i haven’t 100% settled yet.
Very well done ;-)
hey, absolutely great stop-motion! Just wanna know, Where did you get those shields? I know those small ones with the way to hold in front or side but the long ones you use. Wehr'd you get 'em? The ones the spearmen use
Custom made. I bought blank grey shields from bricklink and put stickers on them
How did you get all your medieval minifigs and do you own other types of figures?
Yeah i got a bit of a collection, a lot of it was accumulated slowly from sets, and used local marketplaces (Facebook & craigslist). But also brick link
Great Job i really enjoyed the storyline, smooth animation, fighting techniques, use of some tactics and it not just being a straight charge. Good job keep it up. Also where did you get the mini figures?
Thanks i appreciate it! Most of my figures are from bricklink and a general collection from sets and local used marketplaces over the years
Lego Caldarian soldiers. The kingdom of Caldaria
The gore was horrifically out of place. Started to watch this with my elderly grandpa and young kids before bed, but had to turn it off.
They were traumatized.
Did someone just took a brick?😂😂😂
Any one remember Lego Battles? they need an updated new release on it.
Where did you get the black falcons and How much were they?
Bricklink, and average before shipping was probably ~$5 CAD. Might be a bit more expensive now
Hey I have a bunch of questions:
1. What fps is this?
2. Where’d you get all of the figures/weapons from? Especially those bows and arrows?
3. What does your setup look like?
Thanks so much
Ill do a more in depth tutorial explaining how i do things after i complete this next portion of the black falcons mini series. But to answer your questions:
1) i film at 15 fps
2) most of it is the used marketplace, local and bricklink but mostly bricklink. For the bow and arrows i bought about 50 lego bows and chopped them up(rip lego pieces) so i can get unstrung bows and some loose arrows.
3) i use stop motion studio pro and my iphone camera. I believe its an iphone 12
Where do you get all the mini figures for this?? I've been looking into making a lego medieval diorama for a while but have just haven't really seen them on sale out there yet, I am probably just looking in the wrong places tho lol
Local used marketplaces are great, but for specific pieces and mini figures i use bricklink
Great work!! Keep up the hard work!! Can't wait to see the next one!! Where'd you get your minifigures from? I'd love to know since I collect and play with those kinds of minifigures! I can't wait for you to tell me!! Also I just subbed to you yesterday as well!! Can't wait for you to tell me and also what will be your next stop motion? Can't wait for you to tell me that too!! :D
Thanks for the sub! Recently for the minifigures, its mostly bricklink. Especially with the blackfalcons, and a lot of the weapons/equipment i use for my armies. The red/green soldiers were from the build a minifigure thing exclusive to lego stores. For my newest video im thinking about recreating a big medieval battle but i havent picked one yet
@@brickdominion1406 Nice! Do you think you could do maybe for a series maybe Earth vs. Star wars maybe? From Ancient to futuristic warfare united under one banner fighting together against this threat? Is that ok and hope you like my idea! Also I know about the custom minifigures you can make at the lego store as well! I hope you love my idea and will do it dude!
@@jonathanmiller6381 that would be interesting, but i would have to do it down the road for sure. Currently don’t have the the pieces/parts for that on the scale I would want to do it on.
@@brickdominion1406 Nice well can't wait to see it!! Also when you get them can you tell me what websites you get them from?
This is awesome, how do you make the sword fights look so clean and real? I tried to make some sword fights but they look bad.
Thanks! My advice would be to try to animate the minifigures as best you can in comparison to real life movements (keeping some concepts like winding up/momentum in mind). For example when a guy is gonna hit someone with an axe, he needs to put power behind it so it can do any damage. The person will bring the axe above his head and hold that for a split second(or a few frames if animating with minifigures) before bringing the axe down on his victim. Another thing is more frames does not equal better animation. With lego i find my sweet spot is either 12 fps or 15 fps because anything more and my videos will take even longer to make😂. Everyone has there own styles and different frame rates work better for different people. Best of luck! I saw some of your videos and i like what i see so far
@@brickdominion1406 thank you! I did a test sword fight on 15 fps and I actually ENJOYED animating it for the first time in a while. I also tried moving the camera with the sword and getting some unique angles. I think it turned out great thank you for the great advise, I found it really helpful.
Me like this next time make there a main character
Gonna be expanding the story with some main characters soon
@@brickdominion1406 damn you reply to fan comments quik
@@alexanderrabinovich609 I always try to respond pretty fast
How have you created the viking shields? It's some kind of stickers, or you have painted directly on the bricks? I'm asking because I need something similar.
Custom painted, i used to paint miniatures so i had a bunch of brushes and paint lying around.
Awesome Animation!🔥
But how have you done the Bow shooting at 02:00?
I mean a bow without arrow in it.
I cut up the lego bow with a knife, a worthwhile sacrifice
@@brickdominion1406
Ok, but how, how is this possible? how did the bow not Break?
@@Meli.Bauersfeld the plastic is pretty pliable, and not brittle at all. So if you use a box cutter you can get clean cuts without the plastic breaking
