I understand the second question. Im terms of the specificity of the people involved in that situation plus the level of notoriety that program has, it's unprecedented. A girl on a basketball court has probably never been called a woman beater/kidnapper during a game in the various ways fans come up with. That just doesn't effect her it effects the team. Ashlyn Watkins should have been kicked off the team. She beat the shit out of her girlfriend and got it covered up? The police covered it up? If she was a man, she would have been kicked off immediately.

So from there it seems like asking her to be mature and accept the lions share of what she has created almost seems unfair to her. But it also seems like coach has made it clear to her what the path for her needs to be and outside of that she’s on her own. I think that’s fair. Does the guy have a right to want to know what systems are in place to help this young lady achieve greatness….??..NO…LOL that’s a team conversation and a team matter. I honestly don’t think he would be asking this line of questioning if it were men’s basketball..but I don’t know for sure so I’m just going with my gut. I want the young lady to succeed. I hope she does. She can be the catalyst for another championship. Love watching them play….
