That last one had me in tears. It’s inconceivable to imagine what was going through that poor man’s mind while trying to keep from killing anyone or himself.
I actually dropped off the hill going into Denver from the west and missed all the signs telling drivers that there was a long steep downgrade ahead and hit the top of the hill at 60 mph and my breaks were smoking RELLY bad by the time I got to the bottom and could pull off at and exit and throw a block in front of my tires. The block was so that I didn't set my breaks and run the chance of welding my breaks shoes to the break drums from all the heat.
Those cows were so cute.
The elephants did what wild animals do in them home. They were being protective. You can't fault them.

As a truck driver for many years, I can tell you this. When the driver was at his slowest point, at the top of the second hill, he should have dropped it as low a gear as possible... unless his transmission went out too😮 in that case, it's a miracle he didn't blow a tire before getting to the exit ramp 😮😮😎
I think he blew his gearbox too trying to stop. The bloody rear Diff is on fire towards the end he was an amazing Driver!
I love how the safari guide shouted ‘ hey, back off’ a few times and the elephant’s basically listened.. after a few temper tantrums!! 😂😂😂🇬🇧

Best part with this channel is that we actually get the background story. You can see similar, sometimes the exact same clips, on other channels, but most of them just show them with no explanation as to what is happening, or where it happened. At best you may get some comments, maybe humorous ones, about what it looks like, or what the people in the clip may have thought or felt.

I know you've done at least one video in the past, but I would like to politely request more runaway truck videos, ramps or no ramps (last truck vs pink truck respectively). Heck, expand it to any vehicles; throttles get stuck on motorcycles, boats do funny little angry circles, etc.
That road rage guy, Jose, was loony-toons. He needs serious help.

Also, accusing the driver of DUI without proof is unfair and inaccurate. Driving a double trailer setup can be extremely challenging.

I once saw someone overshoot traffic lights and get stuck to a bus, by his bumper. He was laughed at and sworn at, for causing tail backs in two directions at the junction, he crashed at. 😁🙄

Something similar happened at the Beltway in Alexandria, Va. A truck carrying Angus Bulls overturned in winter.
They found the last one in springtime, grazing in an empty lot behind a strip mall 😅

Oklahoma Highway Patrol don't play, but the military is even worse lol. I think I would have rather take the state charges than to catch the military charges. Yikes.

Funnily enough, Colorado records more tornados than anywhere else. I do mean in the world. Mostly in Weld County. Most are fairly small, and low-grade, for tornados.
It was a big deal when Lakewood got hit. That’s really close to the mountains, so having that one rip through was weird! My friend and I were hiding in her basement with three dogs, four cats, a lamb and a blue and gold macaw. That bird shrieked the tornado siren the whole time.
10:04 About ol Jose. When I was a cop, one night there was a HUGE prison guard that lost his head. At one point, he was encircled by 16 cops from three different departments. We didn't charge him because he had slit the interior of his elbows and was covered in blood. Two of the lieutenants on scene had a brilliant idea. When the guard's mother appeared on scene, the guard was suddenly docile. He was allowed to go home with family. His insurance company probably wasn't happy with him because he had heavily damaged his own truck and two cars that accidentally got in his way that night.
Watching the Kruger park footage as a South African: Why would the elephants be this aggressive? That's unusual.

Can't really complain about an unwarned tornado if they aren't seeing it on radar. That's why people on the ground called "Storm spotters" and even the public can report tornadoes in various ways. She obviously didn't understand that fact. The radar doesn't always show EVERYTHING going on and that's why they have a network of us storm spotters. Ashley would rather record it and complain instead of trying to make sure as many as possible were warned once it was on the ground
Number 3 is a great way to get out of the military on a dishonorable discharged and be barred from working a government job for life.

The same type of thing happened by our house in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, so it's not something that's only happened once, in only one place.
Just love the attitude the Icelandic people have 😅. And the truck incident like that happened in Australia unfortunately there were none of these off ramps at that time and unfortunately people driving at the time were killed 😢. But now there's alot of these off ramps now after the incident. It was in the Adelaide Hills I think 🤔

As a retired truck driver who knows the feeling of going down a hill with smoking breaks I would not want to be the one to try to clean up the mess that would be left if that driver had not made it to the excape ramp because it would have been VERY messy, to say the least
The 3 min in crash of the truck - he was not hauling logs, unless they have started growing uniform, square trees. It was finished lumber.
As far as the trucks brakes failing you can clearly see his lights are activated by the brakes it just didnt work

@@Roadent1241 Well, they're explosives after all. Every year for NYE and Jan 1st, hospitals are buckling up for an increase in burns, blast trauma, shredded hands. Fire departments buckle up for the increase in fires caused by wayward rockets and crackers. I don't know about Iceland, but in Germany there's at least one idiot every year who blows himself up or parts off his body by handling the explosives dangerously or even trying to build his own fireworks.
Moreover, you just don't want people stashing explosives in their homes all year round.

I'm a 20 year, Retired, Disabled U.S. Navy Veteran, And I'll tell one thing for certain.
If I were any of those Airmen on the bikes that got caught speeding like that and then running from the cops, I'd much rather have faced a civilian court than what the Air Force is going to do to them. They probably would have gotten off lighter in a civilian court than a military court.
I don't feel sorry for them though, They're gonna regret getting caught, And they're gonna pay for it big time.

So, the Case was transferred to Air Force JAG . . . then with successful Prosecutions, then long times spent in Leavenworth Military Prision with Dishonorable Discharges, upon Sentence's Completions, would have been appropriate. The State and Counties still should have kept their "thumbs in the pies", though. A lecture by the Commanding Officer to their remaining Unit Mates could have made a difference, too.

The second story, and the drunk driver - the people filming it seemed to think it was funny. Well, fine, it was afterwards because nobody got hurt, but considering how easily that could have ended differently I would not have laughed while it was still going on, as they seemed to be doing unless the voice track was added afterwards and was more of a commentary on a film they were looking at.

In the UK there's a Fireworks Code, rules you have to follow by law. The leaflets on it coming with buying fireworks and in the instructions on the packaging. It's against the law in the UK, for ordinary households to buy professional display fireworks and for shops to sell them to people who are not professional fireworks display technicians.
I wish we had that rule here in Nebraska, US. Every year I'm afraid to fall asleep around July 4th and January 1st as fireworks are sold in big tents next to the road and people set them off for days before and after. If it's a dry summer you pray you still have you're house after they're done.
@@gl15col Maybe you should all campaign to get your state authorities to do something...pass some laws on firework use. We got ours by campaigns directed at the central government. But since your country is divided into states, maybe get a petition and campaign about fireworks safety, to your state's local government might work. ❤️

@@gl15col : I don't know how long you've been in Nebraska, or even what part you live in, but I've lived here long enough to learn that most Nebraskans have enough sense to not set off a bunch of fireworks that could destroy not only a neighbor's property, but their own by doing something incredibly stupid. There are stringent laws about what/where fireworks can be sold and used, as well as when it is allowed. In high fire weather conditions, only professional shows are permitted, and those violating the rules can be, and are, severely punished.

@@Roadent1241 I was born in a small Weyerhaeuser industry town and raised in a 24ftsq cabin in the mountains. A 10yr old running a chainsaw. Great upbringing then military. I know like yourself does about human error. I'm a perfectionist and sometimes my comments are based or biased like normal. Take care out there sir
