It’s probably the worst time to suggest this, but instead of doing a top 10 list at the end of the year, how about a rundown of all the sneakers you gave 10’s to throughout the year?

Nbs have been slept on for years.. I’m talking YEARS! Quality is key, NB never slips on quality. They’ve been gaining mad traction in the past year due to these types of collabs which I’m happy to see. I don’t think there will be a changing of the guard so to speak but, new balance are definitely showing their teeth! Kats are paying NB prices for more hyped shoes with trash ass materials. I’d much rather drop my bread on quality than buy some “me too’s” Don’t get me wrong, I have mad hyped shoes and love em all for what they are but, end of the day… quality and comfort goes to New Balance hands down.
The color selection on these are the perfect mix
I love these also. I’ve been contemplated picking up a pair and you just convinced me. New Balance has been on fire with their collabs. They have great materials, great color ways and excellent craftsmanship!! I’m sold!
These are one of my top 3 of the year for sure and hitting these for retail at SNS LA driving down to Venice beach boardwalk to pick them up made it that much more sweeter, the story hits that nostalgic bone of when we were kids and yes indeed what a time to be alive it was! Keep killing the videos been rocking with y’all for years now.

I love these so much I bought two pairs for resell price.
One for rocking ‘em and the other for displaying/spare. Will wear them once first pairs are used up.

I bought my dad (who turned 71 a couple of weeks ago) a pair of 990v3’s the version series all grey pair and he is in love with them…he says they are the most comfortable shoe he’s ever worn. I’m gonna buy him these next for Father’s Day.

Good luck, seriously. I suggest a habit or other goal that requires money (debt pay down, invest, buy a house, etc.) And find a way to reward yourself with something other than sneakers. I too am trying to go as long as I can without buying sneakers. My goal is June. Only caveat I'm leaving for myself is selling pairs to pay for another pair but, I have to sell first and have the money in hand l before I buy something new. Which is hard enough because I've gone from well over a hundred sneakers to 26 in the past year. Bought my last pair on 12/28. If this is your only pair it's definitely a great choice. The Bodega 990 V2 is dope as well and a but more wearable for most people. At first I didn't like it as much as the JFG but now I like them better after having both. Both are dope though.

Just finally wore mine this weekend, I’m a Nike guy but once I saw these in person I was the same.had to have them. My first NB and don’t think it will be my last (time to change up).
I know I'm in the minority, but these were my shoe of the year for 2021. Love these things! Well, I had them tied with my AMM J3s, but given I won a raffle for the JFG NBs and I paid resell for the AMM, I had to give it to the NBs because the W made them feel more special.
I agree. I actually had to pay a lot for resell but it was so worth it. My favorite pair of shoes that I can wear. AMM are my favs but I don’t wear them. Too nervous about messing them up.

These are dope. I must admit that I glanced over NB shoes for years. Until one day I went into a NB outlet, tried on a pair of 574s and my feet thanked me. Lol. After doing research I come to find a lot of NB models that I find dope. From their made in USA shoes to their made in the UK line as well. This shoe included. Dope review. Later.
That 992 of his made me get into new balance shoes unfortunately i dont have that shoe. One day i will though.

They’re 990v3, they hold up better than pretty much all shoes outside of Jordan 1s or 993 New Balance

Every time I see these I consider paying resale and then I’m like na I don’t need em. But they just keep popping up 😂. 990v3 is debatably my favorite new balance silhouette as well.
I like that sneakers a lot but that blue in the lateral aspect of the soles look like is going to crack and peal and that will make it look bad! The blue stain goes easy my genesis is peal, and lastly in comparison with 2002r, 992, 990v4 and others the 990v3 are not so comfortable. But taking that aside 990v3 jjjjound that is coming up ufffffffff 🔥

Oooweee! I could not only cut some serious grass in those, I could hit the yard with the edger and weed eater as well! After that I would run to the mail box and take the trash out. Depending on the day and time of year baking a pie followed by a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond in them if we have time. 😪😭😭🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
