    Angie, I have never commented on a single UA-cam video but I just wanted to thank you for your amazing channel, which is such a huge help to me. I am 62 and among the UA-camrs talking about mature beauty, you are the most thorough and realistic. I love your tutorials also. I am about to crack into my first bottle of your favorite Chanel foundation. I watched one of your videos with my 28 year old daughter and she said “she’s so cute!” Thought you would get a chuckle out of that.

    Angie, I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm learning -- and experimenting! -- thanks to you. I'm right behind you at 56 years old and have been lost in a makeup rut for 25+ years. This year I decided to take better care of myself, which is how I found you. Discovering your channel has been life-changing. I'm slowly learning, thanks to you, trial and error, and Amazon's generous return policy, what colors and products are good for me (I have mild rosacea and MAJOR dark under-eye circles), what brushes to use when, how the heck to do eyeshadow, etc. etc. etc. Sometimes it feels overwhelming and I'm definitely a "keep it simple" gal, but I'm getting there! Keep up the wonderful work, and thank you so much for being a human guinea pig and guiding light. Hugs from the Pacific Northwest!

    I'm 31 and have been watching your channel every since you were at around 80k subscribers. I'm so glad your channel has blown up! It's SO useful! I credit YOU to helping me slow down the signs of aging, starting at 28 years old...and over these last 3 years, my skin has looked better than it did a decade ago. Thank you!

    Finally someone reviewed this product and did their research. This product has been around for awhile and I too was always confused by the price difference between this and the CC cream. Thank you Angie, for being so thorough and informative. I can always count on you!🙌🏼💕 Love your Foundation Fridays!!

    Great review Angie!! Thanks for reading those ingredients!! Sneaky little devils! At 59 I am still oily so the luminosity would not be good for me. Loved seeing you and your doggie frolicking in the snow! What a great life you have!!! Love you so much!!💝💝💝

    I love It Cosmetics! As a 58 yr.old I have no problem in how it wears as with most foundations I have tried: Marc Jacobs, Laura Mercier, Tarte, etc...I need to used the Bye Bye Pores compact powder to set my T zone every 4-6 hours. However, my shade is medium tan I have yellowish/olive tones. I liked how it looks so natural on your face!

  • @yensid4294
    @yensid4294 6 років тому +2

    The It Cosmetics CC cream & the MUFE HD foundation stick are about the only 2 foundations my dry, textured skin can wear anymore other than bb cream or cushion. To knock back the shine I use the damp sponge I applied the foundation with & dip it in loose transparent setting powder ( knock off the excess) & press it gently into my tee zone & undereye area. I don't do an actual bake & the sponge can't be too wet, but it really helps the longevity & keep that greasy look at bay. If I end up too powdery, I just give my face a mist of Smashbox primer water or Caudalie mineral water or Mac fix plus. You might prefer a mattifying setting spray instead of powder.

    I bought some of the Bye Bye Foundation several months ago and I do like it. But I have been sampling some other foundations to compare, i.e. Cover FX Power Play, Too Faced, NARS. This past weekend when I was in Walgreens, I picked up a bottle of Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation because I had seen several good reviews about it. I love it! I love that it has a wand attached to the cap (similar to a lip gloss wand but larger) so I can dot it on my face with no waste and then blend with a beauty blender and it smells amazing. Coverage was good, it did last and didn't settle into lines and pores. And the price ... well, you can't beat that for foundation :) I would like to see you do a review on it if you haven't already.

    Love this video!!! I have used the IT CC cream for years. I like it but have found it flat and dull. So earlier this week my Illumination version came in, I like but it has a little of little sparkles. I had never noticed this foundation formula you reviewed. I was shocked how different the IT cc cream looked on you. It was so shiney!!! I would have never thought !!! Keep those videos rolling!!!

  • @melanie.c25

    I think if you take care of your skin (as you do) you don't need a heavy makeup look like this (both CC & Bye Bye). When I look at the vid w/your Chanel there's a HUGE difference--it's so natural looking. I'm trying to finish my tube of CC+ but find myself going over it w/a damp Beauty Blender to try to work it in better but all I see is makeup my grandmother used to wear! After watching this video I know I'm not imagining it. I'll stick w/Laura Mercier's Oil-free Tinted Moisturizer over this look any day. Thanks for another great video Ang, you are BY FAR the best out there!!!

      Mel C I so agree. Stick with the Chanel, Angie. I tried the It cc and I looked like a greasy, cakey mess, that never set. I could never go out in public with that look. Chanel is my fav.

You are so real and so lovely, beside how beautiful you are, I'm so glad you tried this one too as I was wondering how different it wears. I don't like foundation on me, but maybe that's because I don't know what I'm doing. You made my day. Enjoy yours, loved seeing your dog playing with your daughter out back. Hugs to you

    Your summary of the old vs. new ingredient lists (and change of product name) plus the comparison to the CC ingredient list is why I think of you as the Professor of beauty products. And why I think your assessments are so credible. We all have different skin and will have different results, but you really drill down in the formulations to arrive at an opinion, along with your "lab tests" in different lighting, use of peripheral products, and length of wear. Superb review as usual❣️

    Angie, thank you so much for reviewing this. I have been a long time fan of the c.c. Cream. But have been on the hunt for a new foundation. I wore channel for years until they changed the shades to more yellow tones. I did sample your hg channel foundation but could not get a good color match. I did purchase the bye bye foundation and also felt it was very much the same as the c.c cream. I'm still on the hunt. I love and watch all your videos. You are detailed, and straight to the point without a lot of unnecessary jibber jabber. Love you and thank you again!!

    I purchased IT cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation this week. The shade range helped me out. The CC creme colors did not work for me. They turned grey...but so far the new foundation has worked well for me. I have dry/normal skin, with a light complexion with freckles that are reddish brown....and yes finding a foundation color is hard. I also purchased Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear camouflage...Wowza that stuff is a miracle worker for my nasty purple undereye circles. You were my first subscription on UA-cam. Thanks for your video content.

    Love how thorough you are with your foundation reviews!! I am 57 and want to find a new foundation. I have used Laura Gellar Balance and Brighten Baked Foundation for years. I love the ease of use and it has always worked well on my skin. The last year or so I noticed it settling in to my pores. I don’t need full coverage and I live in the Charleston SC area and need something that can stand up to the heat and humidity. I have learned so much from your foundation Friday videos! Haven’t decided what I am going to try just yet but have my list going thanks to you! 🙏🏻🙌🏻💄💅🏻

    Another great video! I have to say I absolutely love the new bye-bye over the cc! I have been wearing the cc for years and mixing the fair and light to achieve a color I can wear-it's also become too drying for me. So I ordered the bye-bye in light, and it matches great, and it goes on like a dream! Yay! I do have to powder down the luminosity in the t-zone, and of course it's not full-coverage, but I'm not a full coverage girl-so for me, it works!

    You are so great, Angie! I'm about to do another IT Cosmetics bulk order, and I'm having the hardest time picking a shade (can't believe they only had 6 shades!!). I've always seen myself so much darker than I (apparently) really am. I used the Neutral Medium and Medium in the IT CC, and they are both SO dark and orange on me. And I don't understand this because I am darker than you and a lot of other women I've seen wear the medium haha! Thank you for doing the comparison! I'm going with the foundation since it's $23 right now :)

    I just purchased the It moisturizer that acts & looks like a foundation. I really do like the CC creams because of the sunscreen, but I also understand you still need to apply sunscreen to get the protection you need. This looks great! I am one of the few people that can't stand IT CC cream, way too full coverage for me and really matte finish. I ordered this new formulation from QVC as it came with a brush. I got the Light, and didn't expect much. I have tried applying it many different ways, but the way that works best it with an almost dry sponge. I really dislike the brush that it came with, much too dense. I tried it with and with out primer, and without worked best. It looks a little glowy at first, but it dries down within 10 minutes, and has a semi matte finish that didn't need setting powder. My skin is completely different from yours, older, drier - but I love this one.Think anyone that had found the CC cream just too thick/heavy might give this one a try - specially if you have more mature skin. The color range is just OK - I use the light, but it is a little too light, but the light medium is much too yellow.

    I tried the IT cosmetics foundation and it gave me an allergic reaction. Red as a beet, swollen and sooo dry on my laugh lines. I will stick with my Chanel that you recommended a while back. .LOVE THAT.

      The citrus oils can be trouble for some... or it can be any other ingredient that just doesn't agree with your skin. I'm so happy you like the Chanel!! It's the bomb! :D

      I LOVE the CHANEL.. thanks to you recommending it to me.!! I also use the Chanel primer, the one that cancels out the redness in the skin.... Its unbelievable!!!

    I am very dry and use all the IT Cosmetics foundation's. I use the Tatsha Primer and depending on which formula I use I use the different powders. I don't have large pores. I use my loreal sponge, then buff with the IT brush. I am a Retin A user. I use the foundation as my Sunscreen on my face. Use Walgreens mineral sunscreen on body. This has become my go to foundation. Oh! I am 66

    Angie! I love your videos, it's so great to have the perspective of a youtuber who loves beauty but isn't 20! I have a request for your next Foundation Friday. Would you review the new ILIA true skin serum foundation? I'm so curious to see if it's really as good as the initial review seem to indicate! Thanks

    Angie, Thank you so much for all the time and research you do for your reviews! I've been using the IT CC cream and find it works well for me. I think I'll give the foundation a try too. With the SPF in the CC cream and the SPF in the Cera Ve moisturizer I use, do you still recommend another sunscreen too? Thanks!

      @AngieHotandFlashy  6 років тому +5

      If you think you're using a 1/4 teaspoon of them combined then you don't need an additional sunscreen, but a tiny dab of each won't give you adequate protection.

    Yay! Thank you for this Angie. I am almost out of my CC cream and was thinking of trying the foundation. I think though that I'm going to try your Chanel instead. Stay safe and warm!

    I thought you looked great and I always set my foundation with powder. I just don’t feel like the CC or the ByeBye Fountain stays put without powder. Thank you for doing these videos and it’s a tremendous help when I’m looking for something new!

    Angie like the foundation Friday videos. It would be so helpful if you would update your TOP 5 foundations w each Foundation Friday video (even if just in description box). Thanks!

    I have tried both the reg CC cream and the Bye Bye Foundation (when it was $60). I love the look of both and have used with the IT Powder Foundation on top. Flawless coverage. However, something in both of these foundations does NOT like my skin. I end up with horrible breakouts around my jawline and cheeks and they don't go away for a long time. I've tested it several times in different climates, but still can't use either one. I'm bummed since I really did like them both. Another wonderful product testing. Thank you for all your honest reviews!

    I’m new to your channel. What part of the country do you live in? You are lovely, and 8 am enjoying your videos. I am approaching 59, so greatly appreciate that you’re not a 19-year old telling me what to use on my much older face. 😉

    Oh Angie! You are almost to 300,000 subscribers!!! This was a great video-I use the CC cream and add in a watery foundation with matte finish to it- I get the best of both worlds, the shiny of the CC cream is countered by the matte of the other very liquid foundation. That way I don't have to use setting powder which settles into my lines!

    Great video , very informative . Gonna try the bye bye foundation and powder. At 47 my makeup needs have changed, especially around my eyes and forehead. I have recently found that even my nasal labial folds no longer do well with foundations that worked before. That being said I'm always on the hunt for foundations and concealer that better serve my needs as I get older and my skin changes. Hydration is definitely something that requires more attention than it did 5 years ago never mind 10 years ago. Also I find d that less is more all around with makeup and looking , not youngert younger, just better.

    Oh wow how gorgeous your lashline looked the first day! That brown liner made it look so thick. I'm going to try to do my eyeliner like this too. :) Your animals are just so adorable! And I think I saw that your cat has thumbs! That is the cutest thing ever!! :)

    Awesome review, Angie! I've been wondering about the formula change in the foundation. Now I have a better idea of the differences between the two. Will give it a try when I'm near the end of my CC+ cream. Thanks!
