The actual problem was he was insecure and worried that I might find someone else while he was away from home. I encouraged him to take these AMAZING opportunities. Eventually he quit. I thought it was a horrible idea. Unfortunately, I was right. He became angry & frustrated, slipped into a depression and drugs, stole from his family and friends. I left. He continued down that path and ended up in jail
