@Doug las The study you refer to was testing for reductions in gingival inflammation and probing depth. It seems Colgate has phased out triclosan from their products.. I tried to buy it today. Have you been using something else instead? I bought the Colgate Total SF but do you recommend something else now?
Been searching for the right product but the sonicare has some issues with the brush size for my dental layout. This all depends on your teeth and how they stand towards each other. Perfect teeth would probably work great with the sonicare. Oral B round small brush tip is for precision cleaning.
There is even more to it to be said. The standard Oral B has only rotation. The Pro 3 and up has also a vibrating function which gives it 3D action instead of 2D action. This helps with hard-neck plaque removal. Crossaction brush tips with this make it even more worthwhile the time you brush. Oral B also has mout shower device called the Oxyjet. Combine these products for the best results. Floss ever now and then encase you need to remove food stuck between the teeth that can not be removed with the Oxyjet.
FYI people, the FDA banned triclosan. Don't blindly follow something just because someone with "ejamacashion" tells you (even FDA, but I think theyre right on this one.) The toothpaste she mentioned has triclosan (she does mention the controversy a bit but seems to not mind.)
Triclosan was banned in most hygiene products except toothpaste. In 1997, FDA reviewed extensive effectiveness data on triclosan in Colgate Total toothpaste. The evidence showed that triclosan in that product was effective in preventing gingivitis.

It seems Colgate has phased out triclosan from their products.. I tried to buy it today. Have you been using something else instead? I bought the Colgate Total SF but do you recommend something else now?
WOW you're gorgeous!!😍 Thanks for the informational video.
How do you feel about water flossers?
I'm a big fan of the Ora B do U like it better ?
Better the the Sonicare
where can I buy the professional product shown in your video.
How to brush your teeth with your lipstick on ?
Her teeth look legit, her vid must be legit.
Colgate quietly got rid of triclosan and replaced with Stannous. Evev worse the rda value of Colgate totaltotalSF is 140-160.
FYI people, the FDA banned triclosan. Don't blindly follow something just because someone with "ejamacashion" tells you (even FDA, but I think theyre right on this one.) The toothpaste she mentioned has triclosan (she does mention the controversy a bit but seems to not mind.)
attatae it isn't banned in every country.
Triclosan was banned in most hygiene products except toothpaste.
In 1997, FDA reviewed extensive effectiveness data on triclosan in Colgate Total toothpaste. The evidence showed that triclosan in that product was effective in preventing gingivitis.
How can this be a review if you didn't even review the Sonicare?
Triclosan: anti-gingivitis, anti-cavity, anti-plaque, anti-antibiotics,...
What's not to like.
Great Review and great channel as well 🤗❤️😊 May the oral b also be used in case of gingivitis or would it be too hard to the gum then? My dentist recommended a power brush to improve the removal of plaque (I'm sorry for grammatical errors, I'm not a native speaker)
This video does not compare anything
sonic care is so much better , i have three mides on my sonicare deep clean, white , and normal , and three speeds ,.. sounds like you using all the free stuff they give you, must be a reason .
Must be a reason she has perfect teeth, too. Look at yours then look at hers. SO helpful of you to post a video of yourself.
Hi! Does mouthwash wash away the toothpaste properties?
A Bluetooth tooth brush? But what if you don't want blue teeth?
where is the compare?
I had one of these toothbrushes for awhile but I'm really not a big fan of electric toothbrushes so I got the oral b clip it's a manual toothbrush but it has replaceable heads and I love it
I miss your videos! Welcome back
Thank you!! It feels great to be back :)
would you recommend this for someone who has braces? or would it run the risk of breaking a bracket? - Oral-B toothbrush
Alpha_NY yes absolutely you can use with braces! It’s actually really good for patients with braces. Just use on the sensitive setting :)
Thank You! @@dreugenia
I couldn’t even focus on the the tooth bushes...Your So Gorgeous!
My daughter is very sensitive to SLS, is there a toothpaste you would recommend? (She's 11)
Colgate sensitive pro relife is what im using and its great
Sonicare is the best for me. I have both and the dental community suggest always oral b … but the truth is that sonicare is the best 😬
Please check Oral-B Pulsonic Slim Luxe or Oral-B Pulsonic Slim One.
Don;t compare old Oral-B toothbrush.
What was the exfoliate product you were talking about in video?!
SoloGatoMusic 23 Clarisonic
I prefer the Sonicare electric toothbrush. It's gentler on my teeth & gums.
"Reach for the sky," said right eyebrow to left eyebrow.
where did you make your order for the new one plz
You don't need a toothbrush, toothbrush needs you XD
My Dentist cousin called me at 11.30pm having problem with his iPhone Bluetooth. I told him to make an appointment for next week. I'm going to make him wait half an hour and charge him $1200 . lol
Someone got a pair of new kneepads long with a thick milkshake for this endorsement video
Yeah I like Colgate too! Shes very pretty BTW👌
Which is quieter?
Lara O'neal the sonicare is definitely quieter. Whether that's enough if a difference to matter is up to you though
Was this the 8000, 7000 or 6000 model?
Scott Philhower iv got the same one this one dosnt say what model all i know is these brushes right there came from the dentist if it dont say the model type i say its pretty well 7000
stacey Leblanc Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!
A little late but....she says it's the Genius, and she's in the US so it must be the 8000, since the Genius 9000 isn't available in the US.
Which model was this?
I wish you were my Dentist. Is the Oral-B loud? Wish you were my Dentist, which brush is better in your opinion?😀😀😀
Who else felt like from 0:10 - 0:14 sounded like she was singing with the music.. it even RHYMED!
anyway, good video.
Can you please review the Burst and advise which of the three you feel actually does a better job at removing plaque and gives overall better results. Thanks great video
*Hi Eugenia, you're very pretty btw!*
*Q: So it's been a year since u posted this, what toothbrush do you use now, the Sonicare or Oral B?*
Chesco hi!! I’m still using the Oral B :) it’s hands down the best one.
@@dreugenia Just bought a 8000 Oral-B, thanks for the great video! Crazy how much better results you feel & get on a Electric vs a manual. Im a converted believer! lol
Sonicare is always better than Oralb
Great job doc... more videos plz on gum issues. Bless u!! 👍👍👍👍
My holistic dentist says Sonicare all the way.
They both have their pluses and minuses. And holistic dentist? /eyeroll
Thanks for the review! I would love more videos from you !
Sonicare is much better!
Reach from j&j is alot better than Glide imo.
They both work better than a manual toothbrush. Some people might over use these electric toothbrushes and damage the enamel on their teeth. I will say Dr. Prokopets....You have the most beautiful eyes!
Hi! How might one overuse? Brushing too much? For too long? Obviously we know too hard is a problem.
Hi! Can you please recommend me a good water flosser? Thanks so much!!!!
