Fencing is such a beautiful act of skill, speed, the art of battle, and gallantry. This is none of those things.

Fencing is full of grace! But Foam Fighting is a fun combat sport... These tournaments are just 1v1. But team tournaments showcase the intensity that can also be seen on the larger battle field. Does fencing offer a 4v4 or a field of more than 100 fighters?

This is a system which by design, focuses on speed and safety. It's supposed to be approachable by as many people as possible with a SIGNIFICANTLY lower cost then getting proper fencing gear. And if your talking about Olympic fencing, this 100% takes more skill and endurance.
Comparing larp to fencing is foolish. It would be (more) comparable to stick fighting, but historical fencing and stick fighting is designed to actually harm the opponent, this is not.
