Not only was she not complaining, she showed so much appreciation for the artists and their messages unlike those who were sent to coachella by brands or to take extra ass outfit pics.

gambino was definitely trying to give people an experience they couldn’t have anywhere else. he’s an artist, i’ve been to one of his concerts and it’s not just a music concert. he makes his performances into a work of art. after i left his performance i felt like i’d gone through some sort of spiritual experience. you leave feeling like a different person, he’s just amazing.

This honestly seems like the most optimal way of doing Coachella
So basically when he started he was just standing there and embracing the audience and then he made a speech about how people need to get off of their phones and OF COURSE NOBODY LISTENED and it was annoying. And after all the performance art type stuff, he proceeded with This is America and THEN he started smoking and handed his blunt to someone in the audience AND HE BASICALLY MADE HIM SMOKE THE WHOLE THING LMAO. Then after all of that he played a careful selection of his older stuff like Worldstar, Sweatpants and 3005 and it was the best experience of my life. I turned off my phone and it was an EXPERIENCE. Ok anyway anyone who didn’t get his message didn’t see that his old music is super ignorant and inappropriate now. I love his old stuff but obviously a lot of people would get offended and he’s grown up so much since Camp and Kauai so I respected him so much for that. At the beginning he said “IF U CAME TO HEAR UR FAV SONG GET THE FUCK OUT RIGHT NOW” and it was crazy. Friday was hands down one of the greatest days of my life. I ALSO MISSED BILLIE TOO AND IM SAD. My boyfriend wanted a good spot for Tame so I sacrificed Billie but Tame was SOOOOO amazing I don’t regret it.

Yess, Sarah your experience was literally mine! This was my first Coachella, did camping and wouldn't do it any other way. That's for almost all camping festivals - you don't just show up to it, you live it and that leaves you with unforgettable memories. Camping is really not that hard, it was by far one of my most "glamorous" camping experiences minus the winds. Its so much fun, my tip would be PLEASE curate your group down to the tea, go with people that are ALL GOOD VIBES and on the same frequency as you.
