Any particular reason why you didn’t feed anything for the first 30 minutes Mark?

I've learnt that slapping can sometimes be enough if there are already carp in the swim, no point feeding if they instantly react to it as you want them to have your hook bait rather than the loose feed. In those conditions I only feed when I need to attract them in 👍
