You're exactly right. Ego hos so much to do with our performing abilities. I had a tendency to rush when performing with cards or coins only because I was too concerned about doing badly. or exposing a method. Magic is a bit like golf. It' seems the less that you're concerned with a result, the better things flow. Take care and be well....

Steve, I found your debrief very interesting. I am a bit ambiguous about magic competitions. I know they may force participants to work on their acts and have a goal but magic is such a specialist niche we should all be helping each other. I don't think you need to worry about the course as there is so much good material on there already. If you reduce the reviewing and change the emphasis to a more general channel I will have no complaints - there is so much magic already, we only have one lifetime! I wish you success in developing hosting and other gigs. Look after yourself and all the best

Hope your car reg hasn't been cloned and wasn't the reason for the police stop. Perfection is an unachievable goal but what gives you pleasure and earns you money are the way to go. The cops seem to have got some practice with their TPAC but let's hope they don't need to perform it on a regular basis for a living! Hope you get some well earned rest Steve!
