I explain the details in this video: • MY PARTNER COMPANIES -...
I want to let you know that I cooperate with a couple of tool companies. Occasionally, they provide me with some of their tools for me to use in the shop.
But: Whenever you see me using a tool it means that I like it and think it’s worth using. When I do a review, I tell you my honest opinion.
I want to be transparent about these partnerships, however, so that you’re not kept in the dark and can make up your own mind if you think I’m in fact unbiased or not.
My partner companies are: Bessey, Kreg, Maschinenhandel Meyer, Triton, Wolfcraft (as of 02/2019)

@@Ricksastar Thanks for pointing that out - should work again.
As a complete noob to woodworking I appreciate how you cared to show mistakes that took place along the way. It gives me the encouragement to not give up when you encounter stumbling blocks. Thank you
I’m glad to hear it - enjoy your woodworking!
Really good video. I liked the fact that you are able to do small accurate projects with a portable small table saw.
Very nice project, I like that you didn't edited out the mistakes from the video.
I really appreciate this video. You actually showed the mistakes you made, what you learned. Some creators actually cut their mistakes out, you didn't. This way we all learn too. And I also appreciate the fact that you added the template. I am going to give this a shot tonight. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind feedback - appreciate it!
All very convenient! every instrument has its place.
Nice job. It helps to be organized. Nice design change with the drawer as well. Looks much better.
Thanks.
Nice. I could use something like this! You took the time to apply finish, and actually cared about tear out even though it was a shop project. It's nice to see! Well done
Thanks. Yes, it was the first tool holder that I applied finish to - it makes a big difference, the holder feels much more valuable because of it.
I really appreciate your showing how we all make mistakes and how you pick yourself up and move on! Nice Build
Thanks. Glad you find it useful.
I always like the honesty of your videos, you give us a 'warts and all' experience which I think is commendable since I am a firm believer in the idea that mistakes are an opportunity to learn.
Thanks for your feedback -it’s great to hear that you appreciate my honesty!
Great to see a UA-cam video with errors made, well done Andreas. You've given me some ideas for my Dremel bits on the model train work bench, thank you.
Glad you find it useful!
John Hill LMAO I was going to post the same thing a box for my dremels on my train table layout I model Nscale my layout is 6×18' hope your box turned out good and great video AndreS as allways
Always elegant and clean build.
Thanks!
Great ideas! Even love the tape across your can of finish to rub of the excess of the brush.
Thanks for your feedback!
I have an unheated shop and use this little trick to keep the glue and other finishes warm and ready for use. I built a small plywood cabinet and installed a small wattage bulb (25W) that I keep on during the winter. I only keep items that will be used in the near future in the locker. That keeps it small. Nice video!
Thanks for the tip.
Really great idea and video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your feedback!
I enjoyed your project. great Idea will try that for my shop. thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for your feedback!
Thank you for this. It is exactly what I needed.
Glad to hear it!
Thank you! You have some very smart ideas.
Thanks!
Gute Idee und perfekt umgesetzt. Eine schönes Resteholzprojekt zum nachbauen. Danke für den Tipp und dein Video.
Danke für die nette Rückmeldung, Rainer!
A good design! I am happy to see I am not the only one to hold things close to the electric heater in the woodshop to warm them in the wintertime.
Thank you!
Very nice build! Thanks for the pdf file!
Thanks for your feedback!
I need to do the same thing. Have run into the same problems with my driver bits as you have! Thanks for sharing very much!
Thanks for your feedback!
Wow I will make one for my shop. Thank you
Good luck.
Great video and idea! I'm going to make one for myself. Thanks!

Excellent idea and execution. Now off to make one myself.

Greetings from Richmond VA USA! Another well done video!
Thanks a lot Jay and greetings back to the US!
Very nice build Andreas, great video very enjoyable , thank you
Thanks Michael!
A beautiful little build, Andreas.
Thanks Will
If I had to guess I'd say your accent is about 70% Irish, and 30% German/Scandinavian.
Good video. I'm looking to finally think about, getting around to, organising my drill bits and there's some great ideas here. Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback, Joe. You listened well: I developed my accent through listening to, playing and singing Irish music in my youth, then spending a year in Galway to study English. Since then, I seem to have lost some of that and unfortunately picked up a German accent again to some degree.
Nice build. I'd like to see one on drill bit storage too. Thanks
Nice job.
Thanks.
Nicely done. I’m subscribing to see more. Thanks for sharing.

Molto bello.Complimenti. Very nice.
Thanks a lot!
My Grandfather had something very similar to this in his workshop, and he probably passed away before Konstantin was even born, so I doubt that Konstantin invented it. I do like your version of this bit organizer.
Thanks. I also doubt that Konstantin invented it. But he published a video about it that I became aware of so that’s why I credited him.
08:46 die coolste, simpelste und effektivste Methode den Pinsel abzustreichen die ich jemals gesehen habe 👍👍👍👍👍👍
When I was in high school back in the last century, they used brad point drills to cut clean holes in sheet metal. Brad point drills work well in reducing tear out in wood as well.
Thanks for the tip.
Nice Idea! I think it's possible to add drill labels to sides so you can easily find what you need.
Thanks for your feedback!
Super idee! Grüße.
Danke.
Like your project, I'm going to copy it ,if you don't mind 😉.
Sure. It’s a great little thing to have I. The Shop.
Cooles Projekt und geile Mucke
Danke.
Es ist selten das beides passt!
sauber und gefällt mir gut, werde auch mal bastelt ;-)
Danke Harald.
You earned my subscribing by showing your mistakes. Well done project, sir.
Thanks very much and welcome to the channel Rick!
gab scheinbar ein paar Hindernisse, aber es ist dann doch gut geworden. Diese Schrauberbitpyramiden scheinen ja momentan im Trend zu sein. Ich weiß nur noch nicht, ob es auch für mich praktisch ist.
Awesome! I dig your work flow style, very organized & precise. Also really dig your drill press, that thing is badass! I haven’t seen one like that before, too bad I don’t think that make/ mode/ type of drill press is currently available here in the US ☹️
Just stumbled onto your channel... and upon looking around further, I found your kit site with the overview of all your tools & the entire article you have specifically about your drill press. Thank you for making these informative resources available!!! Awesome channel!
Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you find my stuff useful.
I throughly enjoy your channel and inspirational videos. Many thanks
Thanks for your feedback, Michael. Glad you like my videos
Hi,
Word of advice when drilling holes, when you start off your hole drill in reverse this makes sure the hole doesn’t chip the wood starting out
very cool I ilke this very much, I think i'm gonna go out and build one like it, oh btw one thing I did on my sled is I drilled holes in it at various lengths and angles then made a few blocks with small dowels in them, it works quite well. that way I don't need extra clamps
Thanks for the suggestions. I already have a Kreg Track system in the shop to improve the sled. I just haven’t got round to making a new sled with it.
@@holzhandwerk_ak no problem, it was just one of those cheap little things we do to improve the things we make , lol
I would probably use a thicker board and after drilling the holes i would run it through the planer a couple of times.
Thanks for sharing. Good to see mistakes along the way, learn more that way. Liking that drill press/stand! What is it?
Thanks for your feedback Richard. Here you’ll find some information on it: kit.com/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount

Great job and nice presentation. Glad you gave a shout out to the original designer. Thanks for sharing the template, did you design that? If so would you mind telling me how you did it, I would like to learn that
Thanks. I did design it. I used my vector graphic software Affinity Designer) and drew the basic shape, then the circles and used the "distribute" feature to space the circles evenly on the available distance. Then I printed it out.
Just found you by accident, good idea, great video.
Use double sided tape, not glue to hold template in place.
Thanks. Actually, I found that double-sided tape is much harder to get off. The paper glue came off with very little effort using the card scraper.
I love this and I am going to try to make it, now that I know all the mistakes I would have made without your video. Excellent..One side note...I'd much rather hear the sounds in the shop as you work instead of the irritating music I have to mute so I can concentrate. But that's just my problem..
Thanks for your feedback, Linda. Other viewers ask me where to find that “relaxing music” - I guess tastes are different.
Nice vidio , I hope you sukses
Thanks.
It cracks me up when someone makes a video trying to teach you how to do something and they screw it up.
he is keeping it real...we all make mistakes
👌👌👌
Very nice My Brother I like it good idea to, I will see you later take care :)
Thanks TJ!
Sehr schön gemachtes Video & mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut. (schade dass der Link zum PDF template nicht mehr tut)
Danke für die nette Rückmeldung. Ich hab den Link repariert, sollte nun wieder funktionieren.
Very nice video. May I ask where you got your glue brush holder?
Thanks. I got it on amazon Germany: amzn.to/3TKDbAt - here I found a similar one on amazon US: amzn.to/3RkTcvx
Hi brill vid , can i ask where you got your drill stand from please Thanks Joe
You’ll find the details here: kit.com/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
Nice. What make is that crazy looking drill press?
Thanks. I made a whole video about it: ua-cam.com/video/gKtCAXaLeEo/v-deo.html
Where did you purchase your drill press stand, I find it very unique specially for small shops. Thank yout
Here you’ll find the necessary information: kit.com/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
that drill press is it DIY? looks great
No, it can be purchased. Details here: kit.co/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
Thank you for sharing. One question: why circles and not cross hairs on your template?
No particular reason.
Well done sir! This is my first visit to your channel. I have a question..... Where did you acquire your drill press and what is it called? I can not say I have ever seen one like this.
Thanks for the feedback, Marc. You’ll find more information about it here: kit.com/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
Thank you sir
Hi. Can you give some distances in your project? ( center to center hole, stair height and depth, etc.)
There’s a drill template in the video description.
What song play in backstage?
I generally use an awl to mark my holes. Then you can remove the paper
Thanks. I don’t have pointed drills so it wouldn’t have been easy to centre the drill on the little dent.
@@holzhandwerk_ak I find normal bits to work better than pointed holes to be honest.
Great tool selection, unfortunately the only tool I was interested in was the drill press, but it was not listed in any of his links.
You can find more about it here: kit.co/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
How do you get such nice looking plywood. The stuff I get has layers missing inside and looks horrible
Over here you can get different qualities. This is called Multiplex with many thin layers. And you can choose the quality level of that, too: number of defects in the top layers.
