Was putting the linnets drinker back on its cage hanging up on the shed bout 10 feet up as i was climbing up the the ladder a sparrow hawk flew in to the back of my head scared the shite out of me
Great video ,she was one lucky golden. Sparrow hawks are really spot on we used them in falconry they see and go after they wont flinch from what they have eyes on hope she is OK. Best of luck keep doing what you are doing young Olly

yeah mate having problems with H-C≡N, tried using karinphil crimson what should I do? Do I feed them it or make them sniff it?
i had a sparrow hawk grab a canary through the wire of an avairy when i went to scare it off i had to unhook the birds talons from the wire to free it unfortunatly the canarys back was so pricked it could'nt be saved
Hi Oliver, I sympathise with the rat situation, happened to me, a couple of years ago, it took 17 of my birds, redpoll s and fife's, poison back fired on me , after concreting I bought a cat , which sorted the problem and never bothered the birds.

45 gallon barrel with top removed.Bait in the bottom and length of wood from floor to top of barrel,vermin gets in and can't get out.Humanely dispose once caught.Hope that helps.
