I visited this little factory in August, 2002, and happened to meet Prime Minister Keith Mitchell visiting the factory that day. It's an experience I'll never forget. Nice to see the company still active after the hurricane and all of the trials the country has faced.
I'm a Peace Corps volunteer living not too far from this operation, and I can certainly attest to the fact that it is superb quality chocolate, and a finely run little outfit. Inspiring, really.
I ordered this chocolate recently online at Chocosphere, and I have to say that it's amazing! I didn't expect it to be very good, but it's right up there with (French) Michel Cluizel chocolate. If you like dark chocolate and haven't tried this one, I highly recommend it. It looks like a great operation too - I'm glad to see that there are still people in our world who would rather not seek fame or fortune but instead take care of other people and the environment - thank goodness for them!
Here's someone who's got the entirely right idea about this industry! Also, they're helping protect natural canopy equatorial forests which ultimately will save the world! (Cacao won't survive without total respect for nature as we're finding out. There are even recently discovered local vines that provide microbial protections that have to be intact!!!) Respect for one of the best things on the planet and financial interests might just save the rain-forests.
Grenada chocolate factory 60% chocolate. The best chocolate ever :)) Just got back from Grenada. I did bought some chocolate, when I was there. Please start export to Norway asap. I am empty.
Have you tried Daniel Stubbe of 653 Dupont Street, Toronto ? They mention "Origin chocolate bars made with region specific beans from Tanzania, Grenada, Sao Thome, Saint Domingo, Trinidad, Java and Cuba."

I saw this chocolate at Whole Foods in California, a supermarket frequented by many celebrities. I felt really proud to see our chocolate there (_:
God bless you! What a great business idea.

Maybe the chocolate shop... as it is located on the Belmont estate, which is separate from the manufacturing outfit at Mott's place.

@bethedisc it's called Sunshine by Junior Kelly
No idea, but it sounds unlikely as it's a co-op.
R.I.P to MOTT GREEN !!
what is the song in the intro and ending? I've heard it before but would like to know the song title/artist. Beenie Man?
