24:55 you are completely wrong, polarbanen was just an extension of an already existing network and nowhere near 2000km. And it wasn't that insane as the plans they went from were already made by Norway's railways in 1930. And from what I can gather it was only supposed to be built up to Narvik.
33:30 honestly, these people know nothing. What batteries? They are electrified via catenary wires. They send the regenerative power back into the wire whilst they are braking which then goes out on the national grid. They may produce more than they consume but they don't use their own power as you can't do that without batteries and these don't have batteries.

I think you should make a documentary about Iran's Veresk rail bridge completed in 1935. In 1941 after allies (Soviet Union and Britain) illegally inavded Iran, they started to use the Iranian rail system to send USSR about 15-20% of its war material using the Veresk bridge. Allies called it the Victory Bridge in occupied Iran. Today, the Veresk operates daily for both cargo as well as passenger services.

The "experts" in this program are over the top and don't have a clue what they are talking about.

Weren't only German Destroyers & perhaps some British destroyers were wrecked at Narvik & not Battleships ?? Mayhaps some merchant & cargo ships also likewise??

Nearly 10:00 minutes in, and more time has been spent talking around the subject, than the titled subject. Fortunately, there's a feature called 'Don't Recommend Channel'. I won't be getting anymore of these folks click baity mess. Skilled time wasters.
